• Maintains, programs, and repairs all telecommunications radio and radio IT equipment for Denali National Park and Preserve in NPS Region 11.

Additionally, contacts are with customers and key representatives often times take place in meetings, conferences or in unplanned situations where the incumbent is designated as a contact point and where these meetings have direct impact on the implementation of goals for Regional projects/programs

As a Senior Consultant Software Engineer in the VAP, you will pave the way for our engineers to deliver high-quality features. You will work on multiple projects ranging from full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST services API, Container-based services, and a secure, scalable, and resilient API gateway. You'll also have the opportunity to work with modern UI technologies, including React.

We expect our Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant level to have:

• Experience in commercial software development on Unix/Linux environment.

• Expertise in Core Java, JEE technologies, REST, and container-based technologies.

• Experience in a technical leadership role.

• Understanding of architecture and operations of highly available and scalable applications.

• Proficiency in React and other modern UI technologies.
