This position is part of the Pathways Internship Program and is located at the Central Office, Regional Office or an institution within the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Observes and/or assists the Chief of Social Work, the Health Services Administration, Unit Manager or Case Management Coordinator in the following areas: community planning, which may involve community treatment placement, state hospital placement, medical hospital placement, or other aftercare situations.

Initiates contacts with patients admitted for various studies explaining the availability of social services and acts as a liaison between patients and community services.

Provides family counseling, individual counseling, and group counseling.

Orients new staff, residents, and consultants as to the role of the social worker.

Prepares progress reports and identifies and addresses Central Inmate Monitoring concerns.

What are the Major Duties of this Position?

Serves as an in-house resource for other Reentry Affairs Coordinators (local, regional and national) in the BOP regarding pertinent research and outcome-based programs to avoid an unnecessary duplication of efforts and relates relevant findings to assist with day to day operational and long-term planning needs of the BOP.

Prepares and submits reports for the institution, region, and central office monitoring of reentry, volunteer and related activities.

Oversees the institution’s volunteer and citizen participation efforts and is responsible for cultivating and identifying volunteers and mentors to meet the program needs identified for the inmate population.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

We are inviting applicants for the positions of Technical Officer (Electrical) who shall report to the Senior Engineer/ Engineer/ (Electrical Maintenance) and be responsible for supporting him in the maintenance of Electrical systems of the power station/plants. The Technical Officer shall support Electrical team in the following:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper maintenance of gas turbine, generator and auxiliary systems as assigned by Head or Engineers in-charge
• Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently
• Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the power plants for long term reliability and efficient generation output
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, contract labour and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications
• Liaise, supervise, and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, repair, shut down, and overhaul works
• Support operation and maintenance engineers in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of plant defects and outages
• Maintain and control all records as required
• Assist in the preparation, certification and review of all management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 50001 annually and provide support to the auditing parties wherever necessary, including internal & external auditors, to rectify non compliances and/or to follow up on improvement items identified during audit
• Support engineers in managing maintenance contracts and inspections, testing and commissioning of new equipment
• Monitor ad-hoc plant projects/tasks to ensure on time delivery
• Perform work orders allocated by Department Heads and/or Engineers

Description :

Provides onsite support to users with good customer satisfaction for main and off-site;
•Service cases escalated by helpdesk, ensure service report form are completed and update/close the tickets on a timely manner as per ticket update/closure procedure;
•Helps to maintain or improve the overall image of the support team;
•Level 1 & 2 level trouble shoot and problem resolutions;
•Provide technical and operation support;
•Work to reach service level target;
•Break/fix for patches, software distribution and preventive maintenance;
•Managed the media and documentation related to the equipment supported;
•Scanning and Software Distribution Agent installation and reinstatement of agent as needed during transition, wall to wall and steady state activities;
•Install the inventory scanning agent upon any new asset;
•Deployment/cloning/Hardware change that needs reinstallation of the agent. (Agents and instructions will be provided by customer);
•Reinstate inventory scanning agent on the PCs/laptops for those cases highlighted by the asset administrator where the agent is not responding back to the server after the periodic scanning;Provide the listing of any disposed assets from the environment to asset administrator for updating the asset repository
•Support IMACs each IMAC is treated as a case;
•Provide break fix to software distribution patches where customer will provide the instructions;
•Provide onsite assistance for client events (e.g. HFL…).
