We are looking torecruit a Senior Software Engineer on a permanent basis to join a renowned Aerospace & Defence consultancy who are currently going through some exciting growth.

You will be joining afast-paced, agile workforce working on some of the most challenging andrewarding engineering projects, getting involved across the SDLC, developing& delivering a number of bespoke solutions for several clients across arange of verticals and have the opportunity to work on projects that you feel proud of, whilst making a difference to the world we live in.
You'll also have theopportunity to develop further as a Software Engineer through an array oftraining and development courses, both in-house and external, designed to helpyou grow your talent further and work on a variety of tech stacks.
The right candidatewill need:
Previous experience of web or application development in:
- Senior levelexperience in Java.
- Experience with rangeof Java frameworks, such as Spring Boot & Hibernate.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Database development(SQL Server or PostgreSQL preferred).
- Development of webapplications with modern web frameworks e.g., React, Angular, Vue etc.
- Designing,implementing or using Rest APIs
Experience of thefollowing would be beneficial:
- C#.
- .Net (standard orCore).
Previous experience oftaking a senior role within a development team, for example:
- You takeresponsibility for outcomes/delivery as a technical lead.
- You are a technicalexpert, the go-to person to solve the most difficult technical challenges.
- You lead the designand architecture of solutions.
- You coach your team,sometimes filling a SCRUM Master role and you support and mentor junior teammembers.
This role will bebased out of either the Cheltenham or Manchester hub, offering flexible workingwhere applicable but this may vary depending on the end client.
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. This will require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
