The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief, Joint Interface/Network Operations Division in the 613 Air Operations Center with responsibility for directing the activities of the Division for USP ACOM on behalf of the AOC Director, C-NAF Commander, and Theater lF ACC, and advise/assist the geographic combatant commander in developing a data link architecture to satisfy information exchange requirements (IER), implementing DoD policy for interface control and executing the COCOM and lF ACC' s intent and guidance in a DoD and international environment.

• As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with P ACOM Theater JICO
• Joint Interface Control Cell Program Analyst.
• Serves as Command representative and data link expert

Plans, organizes, supervises and evaluates a diversified psychology program within the institution.

Reviews all completed studies, research documents and a variety of other reports.

Maintains an ongoing awareness of organizational development, modern correctional practices and various management concepts as it relates to the psychology department.

Provides professional opinion to executive staff on troubled and disruptive inmates, such as disciplinary or segregation cases, those with histories of habituating substance abuse, those with exhibiting signs of depression, and those experiencing situational crises.

Manages the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and also provides assessment and referral to professional resources in the community for employees on an as needed basis.

Provides professional supervision to the staff in the Psychology Services department.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Operates in an environment characterized by the presence, in a significant and substantial degree, of both short and long-range instability due to funding fluctuations and changing program priorities which require frequent and extensive revisions of financial and manpower plans and operations. Achieving both short and long-range instability in conjunction with the overall plans of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) and consistent with the strategic planning process.
• Advanced understanding of delegating authority and holds managers responsible and accountable for the performance of the product lines, programs, and services under their supervision and management. This includes developing and presenting recommendations and actions that contribute to the development of the functional efficiency of a healthcare system.
• In-depth knowledge of the Deputy Director's managerial duties and responsibilities involve final decisions which have a direct and substantial effect on the health care organization and programs (Acting Director as needed, to include daily analyzation and competing executive demands on resources.).
• Advanced understanding of and obtains a balanced financial plan designed to meet realistic needs of the facility and the network; evaluates the financial policies, plans, programs, operations and methods of communication to assure that management decisions include appropriate consideration of their impact on financial resources. While providing ongoing reports to the Director about management, ensuring financial accountability across the health care system.
• Meticulously management as well as strong leadership in administration and health care systems management which have enabled him/her to effectively carry out various management aspects of as Deputy Director position (Oversight include weekly briefing to Director over the following; Privacy, Information security, Integrity, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Management Technology.)
• Adversity in maintaining abreast of new and existing health care technology and administrative concepts and analyze them with the overall needs of the healthcare system in mind.
