Our client, AARBEES AUSTRALIA, is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Software Engineer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. Located in Adelaide, South Australia, AARBEES AUSTRALIA is a leading technology company committed to driving innovation and transforming industries. The Software Engineer at AARBEES AUSTRALIA will be responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of their next-generation products.
The annual salary for this job is $75,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and optimise application performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in our software development processes.
Qualifications:
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Has strong proficiency in software programming with more than two (2) years of work experience.
• Can thrive on tackling complex challenges and crafting elegant solutions.
• Has proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Dotnet, Python, Java and related frameworks.
• Experience in Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and collaborative development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
