What you'll be doing;

• Effective completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on a range of Electrical and Instrumentation systems is required such as low voltage Electrical systems and verification / calibration of pressure, temperature and level instrumentation and carrying out Alarm, Trip and Interlock routines on systems.
  
• Breakdown and repair in line with electrical, control and instrumentation works.
  
• Project work including minor electrical installations and PPMs.
  
• Installation of equipment onsite.
  
• You will be responsible for the maintenance and publication of plant quality records and reports and implementing Safe Systems of Work to include production of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  
• Supporting out of hour alarms from mobile sites through On-Call rota cover.
  

What we're looking for;



Essential:

• A proven engineering background within Electrical and/or Instrumentation industry with a recognised Time Served apprenticeship
  
• Experienced on industrial Electrical and Instrumentation equipment
  
• Experience with Electrical fault finding and maintenance
  
• Ability to assist with mechanical maintenance support
  
• Full clean driving licence
  

Desirable:

• Experience of calibrating industrial process instrumentation

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis, hybrid working you'll typically spend 2 days based in our Oldham office and the remaining working remotely. This role will include 1 in 4 Saturday working as part of a rota. Bank Holiday and on call working as part of a rota.Posts will be based at either the Oxford Road Campus or the Wythenshawe Site.

You will have a professional outlook and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills to deliver an exceptionally high standard of Aseptic Service.

You will:
• be a professional role model
• work using own initiative to meet deadlines and patient need
• have the ability to work accurately and methodically in busy Aseptic Services Units
• perform effectively under pressure and have an excellent eye for detail
• be committed to deliver a high standard in patient focused service

You will prepare Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Clinical Trials across MFT, working innovatively to provide services to the patients. There may be a requirement in the future to provide cover at any of the sites within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
