Performs a variety of journeyman level electrician duties for industrial facilities and equipment associated with dams, hydroelectric power plants, and related facilities.

• Performs skilled journeyman electrician work involving troubleshooting, assembling, maintaining, installing, adjusting, and repairing heavy industrial electrical equipment, including power, distribution, and instrument transformers, generators, switchboards, circuit breakers, HY AC systems, communication systems, and elevators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Uses established computer techniques to identify and promptly resolve network-related problems within the organization. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and Local Area Network (LAN) problems.
• Identifies and determines correct action to be taken in case of individual job failures not covered by standard procedures. Resolves partial system failures (software or hardware related) by providing for revised applications of system operating capabilities, which involves working through or around the problems with reduced capacity and readjusting the system when full operating configurations are resolved. Collaborate with external organizations to identify problems with applications, operation systems, or hardware that are difficult to pinpoint.
• Suggests methods for sequencing and software/hardware configuration to accept new requirements and resolve processing malfunctions. Adapts or develops new work procedures and instructions for applications by self or others. Administers the process to consider user request for additional computer hardware and software. Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support by analyzing, evaluating, advising on, and/or coordinating health care delivery operations to support improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of patient care. This position is part of the Pathways Internship Program and is located at an institution within the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The Psychology Intern works under the close supervision of the Internship Program Coordinator, who is a licensed Psychologist, and/or other doctoral level psychologists employed by the Bureau of Prisons. Initial intern selection is made by the Internship Program Coordinator at the internship site.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the incumbent provides professional psychological services: diagnostics or assessments, therapy or treatment, research, and in-service training. The incumbent aids staff in formulating programs for inmates.

The Biomedical Engineer assists with the overall operations of the Biomedical Engineering program at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS). Incumbent provides engineering review, guidance, and development of the Medical Equipment Management Program encompassing professional engineering consulting with medical staff in all areas involving medical instrumentation. This includes in-house services for calibration, repair and safety of all medical instrumentation, and assurance of meeting guidelines set by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and other code-setting agencies regarding overall maintenance and safety of medical instrumentation. The incumbent gives critical support to the Biomedical Engineering program by interacting with professional and medical staff. The incumbent is a member of numerous committees that involve medical equipment issues, healthcare technology management processes, and emerging medical technology. The incumbent is able to develop material for continuing education program for clinical or research staff, that addresses the principles and application of medical technology, and/or biomedical theory to solve biomedical engineering problems.
