We are currently seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our team supporting local authorities in utilising Liquidlogic's market leading Education and Social Services and Case Management software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support functions as part of the Application Support team.
• Investigate, analyse and problem-solve Incidents raised via our Incident Management System, Jira.
• Use application log files, SQL and other diagnostic tools and methodologies to resolve issues, including data issues, coding issues and reviewing application and Windows/SQL logs to identify the cause.
• Liaise with Problem Management, Development and Product teams as well as Third Party subcontractors when required.
• Replicating persistent issues in the applications, using local test systems to identify potential bugs to be logged with Development for fix.
• Communicate with customers regularly over issues and problems that they encounter.
• Take ownership of allocated customers and be their named dedicated engineer ensuring that Incidents are managed and resolved within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Support customers on our own hosted servers as well as on-premises servers.

Skills and Experience:

This is a customer facing role which requires good interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrates initiative when working alone. This is together with the skills outlined below:

Essential:

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge and experience of working with SQL Server and writing SQL / T-SQL queries for fixing data issues.

As a Mobile Carpet Cleaner at Sodexo in the East Cluster, you'll travel with another member of the team to multiple sites and provide cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in atmospheric science? Do you want to further your career in one of the world’s leading climate-research groups?

You will join a team of climate and atmospheric scientists at the University of Leeds to work on two complementary projects funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Department for Transport (DfT) research programme “Jet zero: Aviation’s non-CO2 impacts on the climate”. You will work with Dr Alex Rap, Prof Amanda Maycock and Prof Piers Forster, employing the SOCRATES radiative transfer scheme and line-by-line models to quantify the contrail radiative forcing from climate-optimised aircraft designs and alternative fuels. You will also collaborate closely with the other researchers involved in the projects at the University of Southampton, Imperial College London, and University College London, as well as with our project partners Airbus and Rolls-Royce.

The ‘Contrail Assessment of Future Aircraft and Propulsion Architectures’ project is a collaboration between research groups at the University of Southampton and the University of Leeds. The overarching aim of the project is to assess the contrail climate impact of future low-CO2 aircraft by incorporating rigorous analysis of turbulence/microphysics interactions into climate-optimised aircraft design. The ‘Contrails from SAF and H2 combustion; from lab experiments to global mitigation policy’ is a partnership between Imperial College London, University College London and the University of Leeds. The aim of the project is to assess the impact of alternative aircraft fuels (sustainable aviation fuels, SAF, and hydrogen) on contrail formation and radiative forcing and model the feedback arising from the different aviation climate impacts on future aviation policy.

You will have, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in the field of Atmospheric Science (or a closely related field). You will have knowledge of atmospheric and/or climate modelling and evidence of a strong commitment to publishing scientific results at an international level. Experience of radiative transfer modelling and quantifying aviation climate impacts are desirable.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Role:

• Working closely with the breakdown team you will be tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues they have. Working on the vehicles to ideally get them back on the road otherwise making sure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.
• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle's issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle Diagnostics.

We are seeking an apprentice trained Electrical/ Multi-disciplined Technician with a strong Electrical bias to be responsible for all day to day maintenance activities at one of our customer locations in Leeds. The scope of your activities will comprise of maintenance to boilers, refrigeration equipment, air handling systems, compressed air systems and all the auxiliary and ancillary plant used to support the continued successful delivery of our services to the customer.



You will be based at the head office of one of Europe's largest dairy companies sourcing approximately 8.4 billion litres of milk a year and employing 16,500 people worldwide with their products sold in more than 100 countries.



Working closely with the Site Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a wide experience in industrial plant and equipment maintenance. You will also be able to demonstrate an appreciation of Mechanical equipment maintenance.

What you'll be doing;

• Diagnosing and repairing faults on an extensive range of electrical/ mechanical equipment
  
• Carry out root cause analysis and play an active role in investigating recurring faults and engineering solutions.
  
• Carrying out planned preventative & reactive maintenance
  
• Preparing procedures and risk assessment for maintenance tasks
  
• Supervision of maintenance sub-contractors
  
• Mechanical/ Electrical assets including pumps, motors, compressors. You will accurately record maintenance using a CMMS to help plan future maintenance activities.
  

What we're looking for;

• A time served mechanical or electrical technician with proven experience in maintenance on a utilities plant or similar heavy industrial environment
  
• ONC/ NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds qualified or other recognized certification by a recognised body
  
• Strong health and safety knowledge
  
• Detailed knowledge of plant and maintenance systems and their functionality, especially computer based.
  
• Appropriate IT skills (confident use of Google,CMMS, email etc.)
  
• Experienced in carrying out mechanical/ electrical maintenance in an industrial process environment such as waste to energy, power station, chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical or marine engineering.
  
• Knowledge of electrical systems & controls
  
• UK Driving Licence
  

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Incineration and Power Generation or similar industry
  
• General pipefitting & welding knowledge
  
• Experience in carrying out maintenance on C&I assets including its DCS and associated PLC's control systems in a heavy industrial process environment preferred
  
• Working knowledge of pressure system regulation
