• Ensure that the team and business are fully compliant with all H&S, business policies, legal delivery requirements and procedures at all times for both our colleagues and contractors
• Communication is key with colleagues, managers and contractors across the whole project to ensure all tasks are performed promptly, you must have the tact and diplomacy when dealing with tense situations that can arise at any moment during the project's life cycle
• Where technological issues arise, support the total JV to recover these costs from within the project

Job Details

• Working in collaboration with operational leadership to review and monitor outcomes using data and supporting improvements through technical development, such as the creation of material and delivery
  
• Identifying technical needs/themes for individual colleagues with the creation and delivery of technical development
  
• Delivering new colleague training and acting as sign off of new colleagues from the academy period through to being out 'on the floor'
  
• Using data gathered through audits and team leaders to identify systemic/thematic development requirements and creating and implementing solutions
  
• Supporting the Contact Centre Leader/Ops Manager to develop the technical strategy for the function and collaborating with other technical and operational leaders to agree and deliver solutions covering learning and development, process and governance plus letter content
  
• New start content SME/annual review and maintenance, during academy and beyond the creation and delivery of all function specific training for the department

Job Details

• Support all elements of the SQL Server data platforms as well as the Analytics (Snowflake) data platform
• Accountable for the design, implementation, capacity assessment and planning of all SQL and Snowflake environments applying an automation first approach to all tasks to avoid manual processes.
• Accountable for the on-going assessment of database performance and the identification of problem areas, security requirements and disaster recovery point objectives to maintain stable performance of the production systems.
• Work with vendors in evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve performance and remain cost efficient.
• Interact with the other departments to understand and identify data needs and requirements and work to deliver database and reporting solutions to address those needs.
• Monitor performance of databases and reporting systems throughout the company and provide on-going performance tuning and administrative duties required to ensure applications and databases are performing efficiently.

Skills we would love you to have

• Extensive experience of managing enterprise levels technical service delivery standards within a medium to large sized organisation
• hands-on experience working with SQL database technologies, architectures; including both logical and physical designs, ETL tools, loaders and development and reporting tools
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above experience, including Database Administration, Database Tuning, Database
• excellent working knowledge of MS SQL HA technologies, E.G. AlwaysOn and Windows Failover Clustering.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure with database technologies - AVS, Azure Native VM, Azure DB, Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory and Cosmos DB.
• Knowledge of optimisation techniques and efficiency best practice across Snowflake
• Knowledge of integration techniques between Snowflake and tools (ETL tools / reporting tools)

Mobile Engineer - Field based

Covering Leicester & Nottingham

£30,201 per annum - based on 48 hours per week - overtime paid at 1.5x after 48 hours worked

Mobile Engineer responsibilities:

• Drive a mobile equipment repair van between retail sites on a daily basis
• Repair various retail equipment at different locations throughout the region (You will do this working from your van at Customer's sites)
• Fitting and stripping components, straightening, welding and testing (Full training will be provided for all activities)
• Undertake completion of end of job reports, time sheets and any other documentation required, ensuring that you provide timely and accurate information on work activities
• Ensure all work is to the standard agreed at the completion of your training
• Use a Company Smartphone to record all work activities and complete jobs raised by the Service Office
