The principal reason for this job is to support and assist external customers and Elliott business unit operational personnel in analysis of technical inquiries regarding installation, operation, maintenance, product improvement and/or failure analysis related to assigned areas of responsibility. The technical service engineer will compile facts and technical information required into coherent, logically prepared reports, to be communicated as required. The technical service engineer is to be a single point contact on assigned product lines, to accomplish the following tasks:

• develop solutions to field technical problems, 
• provide direct technical support to internal and external customers on new apparatus and global service projects
• participate in root cause failure analysis
• conduct engineering studies

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Acts as a Global Services technical focal point servicing both internal and external customers. 
• Performs and directs key investigations, projects and related activities which require independent action and decision.
• Participates in and/or leads root cause failure analysis projects as directed.
• Provides field service and service centers support for major projects and overhauls. 
• Execute product and service warranty, including investigations, analysis, and corrections (including budgeting), with the purpose of maintaining a satisfied customer base while managing internal financial constraints and objectives.
• Visit customers and equipment installation sites to obtain information to troubleshoot problems. Responsible for investigating, developing, presenting, and implementing corrective action. 
• Collaborates with other departments to insure timely and effective problem solving of field problems for the assigned area of responsibility. 
• Performs liaison function with other engineering departments on the specification, manufacturing, assembly, material quality, testing, repair, performance and operation for assigned products. Includes consulting with service groups on re-rates, defective parts, new part orders, engineering studies and design changes. 
• Collaborates with other engineering groups in development of new products (design reviews) and improvement of existing products (Product Action Teams) from a service standpoint.
• Assists with technical aspects of sales/project execution activities when necessary. 
• Generates Service Engineering Bulletins and Elliott Technical Service Letters as assigned.
• Assists and participates in the development of the overall technical service team capabilities and performance.
• Develops and presents technical training as directed.

You will work on these hard challenges in close collaboration with roboticists, ML researchers, DevOps engineers, and data annotation teams.  Your contributions will help us build new robot technologies for Atlas and other R&D efforts at Boston Dynamics.

How you will make an impact:

• Actively participate in ongoing research initiatives, collaborating closely with Research Scientists and Infrastructure Engineers

• Evaluate, train and deploy state-of-the-art ML perception models and the associated data pipelines

• Supervise data collection and annotation, create and annotate sample datasets for Proof of Concept (POC) work. Develop annotation tooling.

• Analyze and track failures in experimental robot runs. Develop simulation, logging, and visualization tooling.

• Maintain and improve the ML code repository, ensuring its ongoing maintenance and improvement to meet evolving needs (CI/CD, testing, deployment)

• Develop tools to query and gain insights into data, training, and testing performance metrics

You bring:

• 3+ years of experience developing and delivering ML models solving business needs

• Advanced knowledge in Python programming, familiarity with C++

• Familiarity with popular ML frameworks - pytorch, tensorflow

• Experience with ML deployment (ex. Triton, ONNX)  

• Experience with robotics or related problems: 3D transformations, optimization

• Experience with database systems for scalable ML dataset management

• Experience with docker and job orchestration for cloud and on-premise GPU clusters

GENERAL FUNCTION: This position takes incoming calls from Correspondent, Retail and Direct Mortgage employees and provides resolution to any technical issue they may have with the mortgage origination systems. • Serve as a liaison between the user and Information Technology ensuring issue resolution by intervening on user's behalf and maintaining ongoing communications and updates between parties.

• Maintain accurate records, procedures, and call logs for department and management reporting. Properly complete the appropriate defect reports, tickets, or forms used for customer reported issues adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
• Accurately assess and perform mortgage change requests, and setup/changes to vendor, branch, and insurance companies.
• Continually learn and develop knowledge of Mortgage systems, products, and processes.
• Participate in team projects and engagement initiatives, act as a team leader for assigned projects, and mentor and train more junior employees.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The TASKI Technical Service Representative adds value after sales. This individual will provide service and act as a single point of contact to customers and employees with respect to ordering parts and the servicing of TASKI and NSS equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent customer service by giving accurate information, timely response and taking ownership. 
• Maintain a high level of personal knowledge in respect to TASKI and NSS equipment, parts and related functions. 
• Communicate with customers by telephone, email, remote guidance, or chat to perform necessary diagnostic assessments.  Determine proper course of action for repairs.
• Communicate with a broad range of customers in North America, to understand the customer’s specific service and parts requirements.
• Collaborate with Technical Specialists, Distributors, TASKI / NSS Sales Professionals and 3rd party service providers.
• Address complaints or problems which may arise throughout a service cycle.  Determine the nature and cause of those problem(s), seek appropriate assistance, and to take action to resolve the problem(s) so as not to reoccur.  
• Receive and process orders in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Dispatch service calls in conjunction with service providers and in accordance with company or customer policies.
• Advise customers and employees of company and supplier policies such as warranties and return of goods.
• Utilize computer technology and systems including SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365 suite, Intellitrail, Remote Guidance and basic telephone systems.
• Promote companies' products and after sales services through up-selling techniques where appropriate.
• Conduct after sales follow up calls for accessories and parts needs based on preventative maintenance.
• Bring closure to service repairs through the use of after service customer satisfaction surveys, and to take necessary action for any unresolved issues that may arise.
• Understand, communicate, and determine warranty coverage where applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a technical and/or customer service environment.
• Experience in technical work either electronic or mechanical (i.e. schematic reading skills) is a plus.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

The current pay range for this position is $55,000+. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon, but may not be limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws. The Operational Technology (OT) Support Supervisor primary purpose is to provide strategic leadership in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the operational technology systems. Required Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in MIS/Computer since or customer service role

• Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate the OT team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical users and interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Proven ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Quick and decisive problem-solving skills to handle critical incidents effectively.

• Customer service skills, ensuring positive user experiences and high levels of satisfaction.

• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL, to optimize support processes and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
