The School of Computer Science and Mathematics within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology seeks to appoint to the grade of Senior Lecturer or Senior Teaching Fellow in Computer Games Development.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with a demonstrable experience in software engineering for games and interests in Testing/Profiling in Game Engines / C++ (e.g. Unreal Insights), Physics, AI, Ludology, Animation, Procedural Content Generation, or Deferred Rendering.
The role will require delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the School and the specific development of the areas listed to ensure our curriculum is up-to-date and meeting the needs of employers and applicants. You will also be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the School of Computer Science and Mathematics in the fields of computing and computer science.
In addition, you may contribute to the development and delivery of outreach and engagement initiatives as well as interdisciplinary project areas. You are likely to have a background in a relevant area with a PhD in a related subject and/or relevant professional experience from industry.
