A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer who will work in various of our sites in East London and surrounding Areas, to support holiday cover, sickness, and additional works for the business. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality of guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
We require Officers to be SIA licenced and willing to work in environments such as colleges, universities, estates, and high-profiled retail sites/centres. You must be able to stand and patrol for very long periods of time in and outside, also you must be flexible in hours and in the approach to daily duties.

Position: Security Response Officer
Location: Various sites across East London
Pay Rate: Site related pay
Hours: Average 24 hours per week
Shifts: Various days, nights & weekends
Job Role / Requirements:
SIA Licence required
Security and customer service experience is required
Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
Must have good command of English language
Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
Flexible in the approach to daily duties – Hospitals, retail, long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock ups
This role includes access control, checking ID cards, staff, student & visitor liaison, bag searches, incident reports, log entries, dealing with hostile, aggressive and vulnerable persons (some with learning difficulties).
First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
Must have five years of checkable work history

Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients
and service users.
Must be very confident in dealing with confrontational situations & willing to immediately respond to assist colleagues
Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
Able to work in a team as well as on your own
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when asked
Confident in writing incident and shift reports
The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
