Employment Opportunity The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (the Monitor) is a statutory office holder whose primary functions are to independently review and report on the operation, effectiveness and implications of Australia's national security and counter-terrorism laws in accordance with the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor Act (INSLM Act). The Monitor is seeking EL1 Senior Legal Advisors (SLAs) to assist in the delivery of these functions. Working in small teams led by Principal Legal Advisors, the SLAs will conduct legal research and analysis, identify issues, consult and engage with stakeholders and contribute significantly to the development of recommendations and preparation of reports.
