New Forest District Council are on a journey of Digital Transformation to support our Future New Forest strategy which sets out how we will transform the council to meet our customer needs, protect finances and embed sustainability.
The introduction of new and enhanced digital systems through Digital Transformation will play a pivotal role in improving our customer experience and reducing manual effort through the better use of technology and modern service design.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated technology professionals to join the team and help support the delivery of an exciting and ambitious digital work programme. You will be a talented, forward-thinking professional who can blend technical expertise across cloud and on-premise software platforms.
As a fixed term ICT Analyst (Security), you will work alongside our Technical Operations teams assisting with the configuration, implementation and support of a variety of digital systems including the Microsoft 365 and Azure stack, modern cloud-based applications and industry specific software underpinning council service delivery whilst ensuring our cyber security position is secure by design.
With opportunities to work alongside our Infrastructure, Security and Applications teams, this is a great opportunity for a motivated technical engineer to develop and grow your skills.
Working in a friendly and supportive team, we offer flexible hybrid working with a mixture of remote and on-site attendance to meet the demands of the projects.

You will work with stakeholders in ICT and various areas of the Council to support the delivery of projects and introduce digital change including:
Support our Digital Transformation programme and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Assist in technical tasks across a range of projects and operational activities.
Assist in the support, enhancement, development and implementation of assigned NFDC systems.
