As a Facilities Operations Specialist, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:

- Manages the oversight of contractor performance for a preventative maintenance program for building systems
- Monitors the implementation of maintenance methods, standards and techniques.
- Monitors and inspects work done by contractors for adherence to state and Federal regulations, conformance specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable building and safety codes.
- Monitors the activities of all maintenance, renovation, remodeling and new construction projects to ensure performance is in accordance with building code procedures.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Provide expert advice on the diverse aspects of the Service's emergency management program, including development of policy, plans, and procedures related to mission essential functions and the coordination of mission critical information technology systems required to support them. Recommend policy relative to departmental physical security and emergency preparedness and is considered to be an expert of all aspects of emergency management.

• Support the Service's emergency operations to ensure emergency response and mitigation during an event, as well as employee safety and the security of information and other assets. Provide expert advice and/or guidance on measures which ensure the maintenance of day-to-day operations capabilities; the maintenance of emergency preparedness; as well as assume responsibility for emergency planning and response policies, plans, tests, training and exercises.
• Develop plans necessary to ensure the Services' aggressive and full compliance with Presidential Decision Directives (PDDs) and Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs), as well as its Agency specific needs. Serve as the Service's.
• Conduct detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes of broad administrative and technical programs and makes recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in the development and maintenance of the Service's Emergency Operations Center representative on committees and work groups with other agencies/bureaus concerning emergency preparedness, planning and response activities (EOC). Assignments are related to Departmental responsibilities regarding potential emergency situations, emergency plans, procedures, equipment, rosters, and systems.

• You will be responsible for the development, all related technical issues, and execution of facilities engineering projects.
• You will be a project manager and responsible for successful execution of awarded contracts and successful completion of self-performed inspections.
• You will perform project development duties to include site planning identification of technical deficiency, development of Design/Build scope of work, cost estimates and acquisition documentation necessary for solicitation of appropriate contracts.

As a Land Management Law Enforcement Officer your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Serves as a commissioned law enforcement officer performing law enforcement duties that have been enacted to insure the protection and safe use of National Wildlife Refuge System resources.
• Familiarizes other law enforcement personnel with Federal and state laws governing management of natural resources and maintains liaisons, exchanges information, and coordinates ongoing law enforcement activities.
• In direct coordination with the Patrol Captain, provides liaison and coordinates prosecution of cases with the state and local courts.
• Coordinates activities with the Patrol Captain on all multi-jurisdictional law enforcement operations and investigations with other Federal, state, and local agencies, including all civil and criminal case investigations.

This Transportation Security Manager position is located at San Jose International Airport (SJC), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing screening checkpoints that are central to TSA objectives that serve to protect the traveling public by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto an aircraft.
• Recognizing and recommending correction of improper use or application of equipment, providing guidance to subordinates, and answering routine questions presented by subordinates.
• Managing and supporting the collections of various performance metrics in an effort to identify areas in need of process improvement and systemic or individual weaknesses, vulnerabilities, or inefficiencies in the screening process.
• Coordinating national and local crisis management and incident response protocols.

Typical assignments include:

• Providing strategic advice to regional leaders and enhance regional program delivery through traditional and social media relations, photography, videography and creative services

As a General Engineer/ Physical Scientist (Nuclear Safety Specialist) you will:

• Lead safety planning, organization, and DOE/NNSA regulatory compliance review.
• Advocate and secure NNSA and M&O commitment to Safety Strategies.
