As a Financial Management Specialist, your typical work assignments may include:

• Analyzing and developing cost data for a broad operating program utilizing a variety of sources. Providing customer service to assigned Division office(s)/group(s), vendors, and financial analysts.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and making recommendations to the Senior Financial Management Specialist as needed.
• Collecting, analyzing, and validating budget data to help monitor and track resources for assigned program areas.

• Serves as a digital/social media, videographer, and photojournalism strategist by leveraging broad knowledge of social media, online presence tactics, photojournalist storytelling, and video for internal and external communications.
• Develops, manages, and coordinates the US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command’s digital media, internet, intranet and web page content.

• Develops preliminary and final designs for structures of varying engineering complexity.
• Makes site investigations and field construction checks of approved practice design installations.
• Planning, design and construction of engineering practices such as water management, animal waste management, erosion control, flood control, wetland creation or restoration, and other conservation practices needing engineering guidance.

This Program Assistant position is located at Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport (DTW), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing a range of diverse administrative support assignments that include spending a minimum of 25% of time assisting managers in evaluating programs and their effectiveness in delivering services. You will perform a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments in support of management efforts to evaluate, administer, and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of organizations and programs.
• Providing assistance to a program area which may include finance, human resources, model workplace, scheduling, or other core functional area. Work activities typically support multiple projects/programs and contribute to one or more organizational units and major subdivisions.

Training staff to enter time-card data. Certifying time-cards and corrections each pay period and conducting random audits, to include the most difficult payroll issues.
• Acting as a point-of-contact with the National Finance Center (NFC) to resolve employee payroll issues.

Salary Information: The salary range for DeWitt, MI (LAN - Capital Region International Airport) is $39,576 to $55,231 or $18.96 to $26.46 per hour and includes locality pay of 16.82%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
• Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with passengers (e.g., pat-downs, search of property, etc.), conducting bag searches and lifting/carrying bags, bins, and property weighing up to 50lbs.
• Controlling terminal entry and exit points.
• Interacting with the public, giving directions and responding to inquiries.
