To support your development, you will also undertake a Welsh Government Apprenticeship Framework Qualification in Digital Skills for Business at Level 3 in the role and will receive on the job training and supervision to help you deliver an efficient and effective service in a positive and customer focussed manner. You will also be supported by a named mentor who will encourage you to develop a range of transferrable skills to support your career progression.
Many of our teams work online with a mix of home or hybrid (office) working. Where homeworking is required, you will be given the necessary equipment and training, however, you will need to arrange your own internet connectivity (support may be available to help with this).
The Business & Project Support Team provide a wide variety of support to teams across the Adults, Housing & Communities directorate ranging from financial assistance, to arranging and taking meetings, to ad-hoc project support.
• Gain experience of working in a Project Management environment including attending /shadowing meetings to gain project management experience and background
• Undertake a range of project support tasks as needed eg assisting with the production of documents, document updates, low level business analysis and production of charts or information for reports etc.
• Use of our financial monitoring software (SAP) to assist the team to raise invoices and Purchase Orders.
• Arranging project meetings or meetings for senior management.
• Creating a record of meeting discussions eg drafting Minutes of Meeting
• Use of key business support software such as Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Applications eg Excel, PowerBi, Teams etc
• Email inbox monitoring and responding to or forwarding on enquiries for action
• Providing general project administration support

• To work with others to carry out duties linked to the section in which the Apprentice is placed.
• To undertake and complete all training and development experiences as required.

5. Although you will be provided with a base, you will be required to work from various locations in accordance with the needs of the role.
