Working with our client as a project architect, you will be responsible for meeting with clients and stakeholders, developing construction documents, preparing budgets, overseeing contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within specifications. You will also be expected to coordinate with other design professionals, such as engineers, interior designers, and landscape Architects, and to comply with building codes and regulations.



What you'll need to succeed

To be successful as a project architect, you should have a bachelor's degree in Architecture, construction management, or civil engineering, Architecture certification. You should also have a portfolio of completed projects, advanced knowledge of drafting software, such as AutoCAD andSketchUp, excellent communication and reporting skills, and the ability to translate concepts into functional designs. Additionally, you should have strong project-management skills, the ability to work with multiple Stakeholders, and knowledge of construction costs and time frame

Your new role
As a project manager for the organisation, you will use your expertise and experience to lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects that meet the needs of key stakeholders and IT teams. You will work on various IT infrastructure projects that vary in scope and duration, and you will be able to manage them effectively and efficiently within the budget and timeline. You will also contribute to the improvement of project management standards and quality assurance processes across IT deliveries. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to other departments or group business units on project management best practices as needed.
What you'll need to succeed

• Lead and execute IT infrastructure projects using appropriate delivery methods and techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with business requirements and builds trust and confidence in IT as a provider.
• Plan and secure IT resources from internal capability leads or external suppliers as needed.
• Manage diverse project teams consisting of System, Network and Database Admins, Service desk, application support and 3rd party technical partners.
• Detailed IT project planning and control including:
  • Conducting discovery, creating business case and initiating project
  • Creating and updating a detailed IT project plan based on scope
  • Managing the critical path of the delivery
  • Managing the budget (resources, licence subscriptions, training, hardware)
  • Tracking and resolving IT project issues and escalating when needed
  • Solving cross-functional issues at the IT project level
  • Managing the scope and change control of the IT project and escalating when needed
  • Managing the key risks and dependencies and ensuring timely and effective mitigation actions
  • Monitoring and reporting the progress and performance of the IT project
  • Communicating with project boards/business change project managers/senior IT management on the status of the IT project licence
