Purpose of Job:
The National Account (NAC) Allocation Planner works cross-functionally with Supply Chain, National Account Managers, and Distributor Operations to drive consistency in our allocation process for constrained parts. In addition, this position participates in and is well-informed on activities to onboard new customers, transition parts and labels, and other key supply chain and commercial initiatives.

Responsible for inventory allocation strategy execution
Responsible for continual improvement of the inventory allocation process
Schedule and lead structured meetings with National Account Managers for each newly allocated part to gather priorities for the network – this requires an evaluation of demand at all levels
Make data-driven recommendations to leadership regarding inventory allocations
Translate business problems into technical solutions using heavy analytics and problem-solving
Work cross-functionally to coordinate and consolidate information from Supply Planning on constrained parts – maintain a central source of truth for these parts

Provide allocation quantities to the team – requires evaluation of available inventory, open orders, and consensus forecast
Responsible for performing SAP transactions as needed to ensure the appropriate allocation is available
Participate in triage meetings to represent function and action on critical needs
Monitor service metrics to identify gaps and corrective actions
Participate in the new dealer setup process and commercialization governance
Manage the central distribution list for fielding allocation requests from Distributors and consolidate to use as an input to daily process
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in supply chain management or sales operations
Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau
Ability to convey clear, concise information to others (both written and verbal)
Strong analytical capabilities, including telling a story with data
Strong problem problem-solving skills
Ability to facilitate conversations or meetings with a large group
Proficient in Microsoft Office
