Provide accurate analysis of efficiency and productivity on a regular basis for all users. This will require detailed analysis of many variables and as such you will be required to build credibility of your analysis to the clinical teams. Develop proactive systems to manage performance. This will require creative ways to predict and improve utilisation via the development of systems to predict performance so action can be taken before the event rather than after the event. This requires interactive and intelligent systems. The above will require the post holder to investigate, analyse and predict outcomes of highly complex data with multiple, sensitive outcomes. Implement systems to ensure there is continuous review of the data to ensure the Trust maximizes all its opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and quality of its services. Design and recommend improvement measures and set up reporting mechanisms to capture the relevant data on the required basis. Highly developed communication skills are required as a means to manage the complex and challenging messages to effectively and positively manage the messages whilst engaging the clinical and non-clinical teams. Presentation of data sets to clinical and non-clinical teams in an effective and confident way requiring the use of highly developed interpersonal skills to build strong effective working relationships inside and outside the Trust/CMGs. Develop systems to ensure data accuracy and build credibility in the messages that are delivered. Generate, manipulate and formulate data into clear, concise reports which are adjusted to the needs of the recipient from highly complex to simple reports. Take a strategic lead to help drive productivity. This will require the ability to manage a project effectively and pre-empt user requirements to manage performance. Will use in depth specialist knowledge to provide professional advice and analytical support to all internal and external stakeholders as necessary which will be used to manage performance of resources for the Trust/CMGs.

To manage multiple projects within IM&T delivering to the requirements defined To ensure that projects are delivered seamlessly along complete care pathways between healthcare sectors to avoid silo working and retrospective project alignment. To have knowledge of a variety of project management methodologies and to utilise them appropriately to deliver projects successfully whilst making most effective use of funds and resources To ensure governance and documentation arrangements are followed within the projects and they are governed through a project board which must receive timely and accurate reports of project progress. To be responsible for the management of project funds and report on expenditure to the relevant boards where applicable To work with the IM&T PMO, Commercial Lead and PMO IM&T Senior Project Manager to ensure effective project controls and assurance To ensure that benefits are captured during the project so that they can be quantified at project closure. To ensure that BAU considerations are considered throughout the project and that the project is successfully transitioned to BAU support at the completion of the project To work in partnership with the IM&T staff to ensure effective use of operational resources on projects. To be accountable for the activities of the staff within your project team whilst maintaining a supportive and inclusive team working environment with opportunities for staff to show case their skills and expertise. To work with key stakeholders within in-flight projects to maintain good communication and engagement helping to remove barriers to change or success. To work with other project manager colleagues within IM&T to maximise the use of project staff to ensure that their skills are efficiently used between projects. To represent UHL at specific external regional / national forum with respect to the National Program of IT or similar IM&T initiatives specifically related to the project/product. To represent the interests of the customers at programme/project delivery meetings and other such like forum. To engage with and influence the implementation IM&T transformation initiatives and IM&T Strategy where appropriate
