The Adult Social Care Division exists to promote the independence, inclusion and well-being of all adults with social care needs. It aims to do this by enabling people to:
-Have control over their lives.

-Access the support they need in order to be as independent as they choose.
You'll receive and coordinate complex referrals, perform assessments and provide leadership on risk and safeguarding matters.
You'll also be expected to promote personalised care pathways ensuring choice and control for all eligible individuals.

About you
We are looking for passionate and dynamic Social Workers to join our Adult Social Care Long Term Planning Team.
Your post qualifying experience and strong communication skills will enable you to achieve high standards of professional service while providing professional advice and guidance to all staff and members of the public.
You'll be responsible for managing complex and challenging cases, while operating at all times to the Social Worker level of Professional Capabilities Framework.
We do ask that you have Dip SW or CQSW, (or Foreign qualification where certified by General Social Care Council) + at least PQ in one relevant area and are registered with SWE.
