Pernod Ricard is looking for its next Global Business Development intern, starting from now on to July 2024, depending on your availability. As a trainee, you will work with both the market performance manager and the business coordinator manager, depending on the needs of the team. You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Your key missions:

• You will play a key role by supporting the business development managers in their day-to-day activities.
• You will help prepare a monthly review of our market performance leveraging multiple sources of data and confronting them to the current macro-environment context.
• You will provide a summary of key competitors’ activities by markets.
• You will support the coordination manager in effectively sharing market knowledge across Head Quarters functions. Manage sharing our knowledge of the markets to broader teams in Pernod Ricard (Brand Companies, other Business Units, etc)

• You speak English fluently.

Location: Barcelona, Spain, office based

Duration: 3 months summer internship - June/July - August/September, 26 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project strategy, design and development, and successful implementation.
• Collect information regarding the status of action items, maintain high-level project schedules, raise potential issues with the program manager, and implement solutions.
• Assist with weekly project stand-up/ progress calls.
• Maintain and revise procedures to ensure efficient operation of programs and supporting systems.
• Assist in writing and layout of informational content to support communications and operation of the program.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are currently a BS or MS Student pursuing a relevant degree course at a Spanish university
• Excellent communication skills, including writing and presenting.
• Strong work ethic and quality standards.
• Proficient in multiple desktop applications, including MS Office and SharePoint.
• Some experience in graphic design and proficiency with Photoshop is beneficial.

You'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between insights, analytics, and business, by contributing to various digital projects spanning B2E, B2B, and B2C sectors. You will be based at The Island, Pernod Ricard’s headquarters in central Paris.

Your key missions

• Engage in insightful research to drive digital projects, with a focus on generating tangible business results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate analytics-driven insights into business strategies
• Apply a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to gather and analyze user data, emphasizing the business implications of your findings
• Support the development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across various digital projects
• Communicate results and provide recommendations to international project teams

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support internal, market, business opportunity and competitor analytics
• Create reports and presentations to summarize findings and draw insights
• Provide timely, accurate and adequate departmental operations and administrative support
• Support business projection, performance tracking, analytic and annual strategic planning activities
• Prepare performance and project progress reports for management review
• Ensure the reports in correct format within time frames to enable effective decision making
• Support internal, market, business opportunity and competitor analytics
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager to meet business requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

• University students major in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
