What You Will Do:
Guidehouse seeks interns to join the Guidehouse Internship Program for the Business Transformation solution team and take an active role in engagement execution, project management, and key business development activities. The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of Guidehouse clients. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.
Highlights of the Guidehouse Internship Program include:
10-week experience in the Summer of 2024 (anticipated to start Monday, June 3rd and run until Friday, August 9th)
Learning & Development Sessions (both E-learning & Instructor-Led)
Performance management, including developing goals and holding Mid-Point and Final Evaluations
Networking & Social Activities and Events
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern Event
Intern Speaker Series
Collaborative Group Projects
Specifically, candidates will join Guidehouse’s Business Transformation solution team. This role will be part of a dynamic team delivering comprehensive and customer-centric solutions that transform our client’s operations, increase efficiencies, and prepare for change. We help our clients in the energy provider sector, state and local government, and federal civilian agencies design and deliver transformational programs and strategies to solve their most complex challenges, evaluate and optimize program contributions towards business goals, and continuously improve the program experience for customers.
Key responsibilities for this position may include:
Collaborate with project teams to develop new business strategies, operating models, and functions and processes, and/or workforce strategies to improve client’s business.
Provide project management, program management, and change management strategies support to implement transformational changes for clients.
Demonstrate clear writing, confident presentation, and effective facilitation skills, and draft documents such as presentations, reports, and newsletters.
Compile accurate and detailed notes for client or internal meetings.
Participate in team meetings and communication threads on email and Teams as needed to provide proactive status updates and to communicate/elevate issues as necessary.
Collaborate with market and solution teams to contribute to go-to-market offerings.
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in 2024 and graduate by Summer of 2025)

What Would Be Nice To Have:
Degree/Majors Preferred: Open to all majors
Interest and/or experience in energy provider sector, state and local government, and federal civilian agencies
Experience conducting primary and secondary research and analysis of organizational data
Knowledgeable in phases of the project management lifecycle
Proficiency using Microsoft products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio, PowerBI)
Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
Heightened attention to detail
