Optical Assistant - Role

Optical Assistant - Salary

• Base salary up to £26,000
• Uncapped bonus scheme with existing team members earning £400+/month

To provide business support to 4 team members covering quality, safeguarding, serious incidents, patient safety and independent investigations.

Diary management to the Head of Nursing

Setting up of meetings for the above areas and providing agendas and minutes

Support logging serious incidents and providing reports for the monthly serious incident meeting

Completion of the weekly newsletter

Admin support to the case manager for independent investigations

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 4 with a full-time starting salary of £25,147, with a pay step increase after 3 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
