The Sycamore CE Trust are seeking to appoint a proactive and highly motivated administrator to join our Trust Central Team. Our Business Support Administrator will be involved in supporting various business projects and will need to demonstrate the drive and initiative to ensure completion of varied, and complex, tasks. We are recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join Tarmac on a Joint Venture Surfacing Framework contract. You will work on this large infrastructure project to optimise the engineering aspect ensuring this project comes in on time and within budget from an engineering perspective. The Senior Project Engineer will work within the team to deliver the highly strategic ongoing project that is fundamental for operational production and business growth for this JV. You will be the SME to ensure the project surfacing operations run safely, delivers first class customer service to our clients, drives efficiency improvements throughout the scheme. You will manage engineering on the contract from design information through to contract sign off, you will have the ability to problem solve, innovate, and drive engineering performance to the highest levels.

As the Senior Project Engineer must be well-versed in all engineering surfacing construction methodologies and procedures and be able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organisational skills. Your responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):

• Have a proven track record of successful engineering Project / Programme delivery, knowledge of pave or surfacing engineering within multi-million-pound projects
• Responsible for delivering the engineering aspect of the project ‘road map’ and able to foresee issues and apply proactive problem solving techniques to overcome challenges, to remain on track to achieve key milestones / dates
• Provide management, guidance and direction to the wider Project Delivery Team and support the General Manager to ensure that all objectives, aims and targets are achieved
• Ensure that the team and business are fully compliant with all H&S, business policies, legal delivery requirements and procedures at all times for both our colleagues and contractors
• Lead, manage and develop the team, optimising engagement, and overall team performance
• Communication is key with colleagues, managers and contractors across the whole project to ensure all tasks are performed promptly, you must have the tact and diplomacy when dealing with tense situations that can arise at any moment during the project's life cycle
• Where contractual issues arise, support the project commercial manager to recover these costs from within the project

You will hold a FULL UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points

The successful applicant in the role will be instrumental in the future development and support of our culture. You will have experience as a Senior Project Engineer within an Infrastructure, Construction, Highways or Surfacing industry, this experience will be an essential requirement for this role; road or highways surfacing knowledge would be highly beneficial.

Qualifications/Requirements/Capabilities:

• Desirable – Degree or HNC/HND in a role related discipline as this would prove highly beneficial in your success in the role
• Desirable – Engineering Management experience on multi-million-pound operational, construction or heavy engineering project/s
• Challenge people, hold them accountable for job completion and quality of completion
• Computer literate - familiarity with computer software - word, excel, etc and project management software
• Good communication skills, with a positive, proactive can - do attitude to both colleagues and external agencies / contractors

Senior Document Services Specialist will be providing a valuable function helping our clients streamline their administration of business operations. Senior Document Services Specialists possess a desire to test new word processing software and the ability to provide training and mentorship to Document Specialists and clients.  This position is located at an Epiq facility

• Create, revise, reformat, and convert documents using various support software including Microsoft Office applications, PDF editing tools, and transcription software
• Prepare and edit complex documents, spreadsheets, charts
• Provide coordination and administrative support for special projects
• Efficient handling of time sensitive and confidential materials
• Perform document diagnostic activities related to troubleshooting documents inconsistencies
• Create and/or revise work product using direct keyboard entry, scanner or electronic conversion methods of input; transcribes audio and digital dictation including deposition transcripts as required

What you'll be doing

The Senior Analyst will support the Director of Treasury Data Management to ensure the integrity of captured data in Treasury owned applications. The support will ensure that systems are executed on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. The role is responsible to ensure seamless end-to-end production as it relates to reporting, reconciliation and load statistics.

Additionally, the incumbent will conduct quality testing to identify improvement opportunities and system issues, and will suggest changes / improvements accordingly. The incumbent will ensure all activities are properly documented and in accordance with the enterprise change management guidelines and SLAs.

How you'll succeed

• Production Support- End-to-End production support, conduct daily review of the operations/exception reports. Ensure that operations and systems are performing accurately and on time in accordance with established standards and SLAs
• Reporting- Provide daily and monthly load statistics/variance reports for downstream users' review. Work with stakeholders to resolve daily/monthly data loading issues, investigate and resolve various system/data issues. Initiate projects/processes to resolve recurring operational issues.
• General Business Support- Participate in enhancements/development: (i) Conduct user acceptance testing/quality assurance activities. & (ii) Recommend and assist in the development of new/enhanced reporting systems, policies, procedures and controls to meet user requirements, changing circumstances, and insufficiencies underlying the current processes.
• Data Analysis- Modify established procedures and approaches to suit specific situations. Assist with updating and keeping directories in line with the Record Retention Policy. Provide value-added data analysis services to technology and business partners
• Internal Controls- Maintain an appropriate internal control environment including adequate documentation. Work with internal and/or external auditors when required
• Identify areas of improvement- Within the department, develop and implement sound business processes, practices and technical solutions to address business issues/challenges where applicable under the SOX404 guidelines

Who you are

• Industry-related experience preferably in the areas of data warehousing, relational databases, and end user (BI) reporting
• You have a degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
• Proficiency in SQL, VBScript, MS Access, Work, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) system is beneficial
• Strong problem solving, analytical, judgment and reporting capabilities
