The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain professional to develop and implement Supply Chain governance, oversight and compliance arrangements across Nuclear Operations. You will be responsible for Supply Chain process and performance improvement through guidance and support to the Nuclear Operations business.
Within the Supply Chain Business Improvement and Governance Team, you support the maintenance and provision of best in class standards, supply chain processes, oversight and support. You will direct, set and oversee nuclear supply chain standards to ensure transparency, accountability, insight and effective decision making. You will challenge and improve our arrangements via a structured approach to continuous business improvement.

This role is based out of our Gloucester Business Park office, working to a hybrid model with occasional travel around our fleet of nuclear power stations required. Pay, Benefits and Culture We offer a competitive salary, bonus and pension scheme with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Personal Contract. The starting salary will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

Within this role, you’ll:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Nuclear Operations Supply Chain Governance & Business Improvement Strategy
- Develop, implement and promote functional improvement activities
- Co-ordinate the identification and sharing of fleet best practice across all processes and procedures
- Influence and communicate with key stakeholders across the Nuclear Operations business
- Lead and participate in fleet wide peer groups
- Lead Supply Chain related business improvement projects
- Organise and deliver Supply Chain related training and development
- Identify industry best practice in Supply Chain process and replicate within the Nuclear Operations fleet
- Provide guidance on the effective use of Supply Chain processes across the Nuclear Operations business
- Identify and participate in benchmarking activities to identify & share best practice that can be implemented to promote nuclear generation as a "world class" organisation
- Develop and produce Supply Chain governance and improvement reporting
- Ensure governance is applied throughout all aspects of the Supply Chain processes to deliver safety, quality and commercial objectives
- Interaction with, and contribution to EDF Energy wide Supply Chain related matters
Who you are For this role, you’ll ideally hold a degree or HNC in a relevant subject and experience within a Supply Chain related role with as good knowledge of processes, preferably within with the nuclear or regulated industry.
You’ll have good project management, coordination and facilitation skills, with an awareness of latest supply chain practices. You’ll be able to influence and manage stakeholders, build relationships and promote good effective teamwork.
You’ll be someone that runs towards hard problems with great team work, communication and interpersonal skills.
