Role Purpose:

As Senior Business Analyst in International Buying Team, you will be responsible for driving financial & commercial data analysis and insights, presenting analysis and recommended commercial actions to the management and various teams. The role also entails collaboration with stakeholders, development & improvement of processes and report automation, and regular report generation, to support business and revenue growth targets of the Company.

A typical day in this Role:

• Drive strategic analytical reports & framework on financial, customer & business data including analyst reports, market trend, operational data, brand performance etc.
• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders and partner agencies to consolidate data for global, regional and different business units
• Translate the analysis into actionable insights with impact on business performance, e.g. identify market opportunities and threats, maximize the business growth etc. and present to management and various teams
• Prepare presentation materials to the business decision makers for the findings and recommendations on the global/regional/ market business opportunities
• Continuously evaluate and propose solutions for processes and reports for efficiency and productivity

Success will depend on:

• Having a Bachelor Degree in Business, statistics, research or related discipline
• Having at least 6 years experience in quantitative/qualitative business insight analysis, preferably from retail industry of FMCG or Health & Beauty
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving abilities with extensive knowledge and skills in dealing with large, complex data sets to draw strategic business insights and identify data irregularities if any
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are must, SAP/ Tableau/ Qlik/ Power BI knowledge is an advantage
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management skills, including ability to successfully prioritise workloads, and manage multiple competing priorities

Role Purpose:

• Work with Group functions and BU to deliver an inventory planning and optimization project.
• Understand the business needs, process and analysis the situation.
• Explore the new technology and adapt it to make the process become more efficient. E.g. Power automate / Power BI.
• Plan and manage the project schedule, communicate the status and deliverables to the stakeholder and track the generated the benefits.
• Build the knowledge to leverage the best practice among the Group and accelerate the deployment cycle.

• Must have 2+ years experiences in data analysis / business analysis / inventory planning process.
• Computer knowledge : good PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience in generated AI/Python / SQL / Power BI is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin & Chinese.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and fast learner with can-do attitude.
• Must be prepared to travel Asia and China.
• Candidates with less exp. will be considered as Specialist level.
