Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the consumer and retail credit domain to contribute to various projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in requirements gathering, functional specification reviews, user acceptance testing, and live verification, ensuring alignment with design principles and data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse user stories and requirements, particularly from credit risk analysts, regarding data and dashboard needs.
Functional Specification Review:
Review and ensure requirements align with design principles and data architecture. Provide constructive feedback on solution proposals from technical teams.
Data Querying & Management:
Utilize SQL and other data querying tools for data wrangling and handling data schemas to support project initiatives.
Process Evaluation & Improvement:
Assess existing BAU processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose actionable solutions.
Scrum Participation:
Join regular scrum meetings and user story grooming sessions to ensure enhancements meet business requirements, budget, and timelines.
Collaboration with Technical Teams:
Work closely with (Tech) data factory and READ teams to implement solutions that address stakeholder needs.
Familiarity with Loan Systems:
Demonstrate expertise in consumer credit loan systems, including secured lending products (e.g., LEAPS ORIGINS, Finacle) and unsecured products (e.g., VisionPlus).
Collection Management Systems:
Experience with collection management systems such as Debt Manager and Aspect/Cisco auto dealer.
Data Discovery and Lineage:
Leverage knowledge of Collibra for data discovery and understanding data lineage within ADA/DL (data warehouses).
Workshop Participation:
Engage in various workshops related to business unit initiatives and contribute to the development of strategic solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven experience in the consumer/retail credit domain.
· Strong hands-on experience with data querying (SQL) and data management.
· Familiarity with relevant loan systems and collection management systems.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience with agile methodologies and working in scrum teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Information Technology).
