The role

The BTC accepts responsibility for delivery of the Induction course training to all new firms / advisers that join the network. They undertake to become an expert user of the Revolution system (and all surround systems and apps) to enable comprehensive knowledge and skills when providing guidance and support. They also support the creation/ update of user profiles once approved to trade. The BTC accepts responsibility for ensuring that all training materials are accurate and up to date, identifying any changes required, proposing the changes to the Senior BTC/Partner Support Manager and implementing the changes once approved. The role also includes responsibility for providing feedback on the performance of all delegates to the Business Development team to enable decisions to be made about competence levels (and thereby approval to trade).

Key responsibilities


Deliver Induction training to standard on time so new Advisers are ready to be aligned with Compliance Operations having achieved required standards of competence
Establish and maintain competence on Revolution and all surround systems/apps
Provide material & content feedback on Induction to Partner Support Manager for review & potential improvements
Make notes on delegate performance during Induction and provide feed back to Business Development Managers
Make sure all delegates are set up on systems ready for approval
Any other tasks delegated by line manager to support the team and company as required

Previous training, coaching, mentoring, or inducting experience, either as a specialist trainer or as part of a wider role

The Role
There are two key markets the company operate in; Education (state schools, private schools, colleges) including Main Contractors, and Office Spaces. They provide a full end to end solution from design through to completion and deliver the full package (plumbing, electrics, flooring, decorating, furniture). Within the Main Contractor market, they provide FF&E (Fitted Furniture & Equipment) and associated products.

This is a dual role combing estimating with project management. As Project Estimator you would support the Estimating side of the business, creating estimates for projects based on a given brief / design before then managing the delivery and execution of secured projects as Project Manager.

Key tasks will include…
- Creating quotations based on a brief given by the Project Consultant who would have attended site
- Researching materials, equipment and contractor pricing as necessary to complete the quotation
- Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring that all materials, labour, furniture etc. is scheduled for the project stages and lead-times monitored to ensure an on-time completion of the project. Internal support is provided
- Meeting and managing contractors on site and ensuring they meet deadlines and expectations.
- Checking on contractors work and raising any quality issues where applicable

The Candidate
You will be a hardworking, tenacious, and dependable individual with significant experience working as an Estimator / Project Manager withing fit-out /refurb. You must be fully conversant with preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc, able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of the various trades that are required for interior fit-out, plus fully aware of the H & S requirements that go with projects of this nature.

In addition you will have…
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Well organised and efficient with a keen eye for detail
- Good influencing skills, able to organise others in a suitable manner

We are looking for a Human Resources and Operations Business Administration Apprentice.
This apprenticeship would suit anyone looking for a career in business administration, whether you're a school leaver, or looking to change career.

This opportunity has arisen in our HR and OD Support Hub within the Corporate Services Directorate. The role supports the provision of a high-quality, professional and confidential business support service.

The apprentice position is for a minimum of 18 months and involves you learning the skills and gaining relevant experience to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. You'll be provided with a wide variety of work experience opportunities to demonstrate proficiency in a number of office based activities as required by the qualification.

Key Service responsibilities:
- To work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.
- Support the provision of a high quality, confidential and professional HR & OD business support service, advising on a range of activities including general administrative duties such as scanning and post collection/distribution.
- Use shared systems, documents, templates, reports and letters
- Provide support within the HR Helpdesk, assisting employees and managers with any HR related matters.
