Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance

• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Knowledge of water treatment processes
• CDM and health & safety knowledge.

Your new role
The role involves managing and developing customer and depot relationships, optimising 3PL provider relationships, and ensuring 100% service levels for customers. It requires documenting, maintaining, and developing processes to support business needs, handling queries efficiently, and working closely with onsite operations, general management, external hauliers, and customs agents. Responsibilities include timely and accurate site period-end reporting, optimising export cost and transport arrangements, monitoring dispatch costs, and liaising with supply and operations management on factory capacity. The role also involves collaborating with commercial and operational teams on supply, capacity, and promotional volume issues, developing logistics systems and processes, driving supply chain development, and reporting to senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have experience in warehousing, administration, and international trade within a food manufacturing context. They must possess customs expertise in import/export best practices, be skilled in Excel for accurate data management, and have practical experience in making declarations. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and developed interpersonal, negotiating, and persuasive skills are essential. The candidate should understand the components and trade-offs of an efficient supply chain, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have at least two years of experience in chill chain distribution, 3PL, and transport administration in an FMCG setting. Additionally, they should have a solid knowledge of logistics best practices, confidence in stakeholder communication, and a proven track record of working effectively within a dynamic, cross-functional team.

Our client is a bespoke item manufacturer based in Telford; they are looking for an Administrator to join their business on permanent basis. They are going through some exciting changes in the business, and in the process of implementing some new systems and therefore need an experienced and flexible administrator to support the business. They are looking for someone who has a strong administration background and possibly some exposure to basic accounts and financial duties however this is not essential.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

• Assist the business in answering calls incoming to the business and transferring to the correct departments when required.
• Data entry into internal systems and checking information is accurate.
• Some purchasing administration duties to place orders for goods / materials.
• Creating project information packs to support the management team.
• Process sales orders onto working progress and accounts system, raise delivery notes and reconcile goods out notes and other admin duties.
• You will be required to cover duties while other members of staff are on annual leave (full training will be given).
• Supporting with some basic accounts and financial duties such as purchase ledger and sales ledger but in small volumes / to cover during holidays.
• Meeting and greeting visitors at reception / taking delivery of items.

Skills and Experience
Our client is looking for a confident and friendly person to join their team. You must have good attention to detail and be comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload. Previous accounts experience isn’t necessary as full training will be given. You must be a confident individual who is keen to work as part of a team each day to get the wider shared tasks completed.
