  Skills and Qualifications required for the role.

  We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, conscientious, proactive, with the ability to work with integrity. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a busy HR Department in a similar role and a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent. An understanding of HR processes and an up-to-date, working knowledge of current UK employment law is also required. Experience of providing HR advice within the care sector is desired but not essential.

  You must have a car available for business use and be prepared to stay away overnight on occasion.

HMP Huntercombe is a Category C Men's prison near Nuffield holding foreign national offenders only.

Your new roleHMP Huntercombe is currently undergoing site improvements and expansion and are looking for a number of operational security to join the team. Working as a Security Officer, you will be working alongside the operational security team. You will be responsible for escorting/assisting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison, visitor checks, toolkit checks, main gate duties and vehicle searches. You will assist with the safety of visitors around the site and ensure no unauthorised items enter the site. Hours: Monday to Friday-8-4.30pm (with the opportunity to work overtime)
Rates - Inclusive of holiday £13.10 P/h Standard
What you'll need to succeed

You will not require previous experience as you will receive full on the job training. You will need to be a strong communicator, level-headed and security conscious. You will be able to work well in a team and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be required to provide 2 satisfactory references and will be subject to full prison clearance.

Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring an opportunity to market for a Senior Operations Improvement Project Manager, based on our clients Tamworth site. Our prestigious client is a an established, household name within the Consumer Goods manufacturing sector and boasts a Billion Pound Turnover! This role is all about driving excellence across operations, being continuously on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and consistently influencing and driving positive change.

The successful candidate will take the lead in delivering process improvements - with a focus on further process automation - and the implementation of new product flows from start to finish across their 3 fulfilment centres. You will be part of a small but dynamic team, who will be hands-on, analytical and solutions driven. We are seeking a robust communicator who can effectively navigate through and steer conflicting priorities/ immediate challenges/ short term goal solutions being driven by operations, who is able to compromise, work in hand with site operations and influence where necessary to ensure long term progress and the execution of the project and it's structural pillars remains on track for successful delivery, a priority, and a consideration when day to day decision-making is taking place on site.

Key responsibilities will include:

Experience required:

• 3 years' experience in Project Management and familiarity with waterfall and agile project management.
• Experience working in a production or fulfilment environment, preferably in e-commerce, with knowledge of printing processes & innovations.
• PRINCE2 qualified (or hold an equivalent qualification).
• Familiar with or certified in Lean or Lean Six Sigma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:

Up to £55,000 - £60,000 + up to 15% bonus

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Degree qualified
- At least 10 years EC&I Project Management experience in a highly regulated industry
- NEC3/4 contract management experience
- Experience negotiating
- Subcontractor management experience
- Team management experience
- Able to gain SC clearance

Ideally applicants should also have:
- A Project Management qualification such as PRINCE 2, APMP etc
- IOSH managing safely or equivalent
- CEMAR experience

Role information:

- Be responsible for a number of contacts from inception through to delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered to timescale, specification and budget requirements
- Take financial responsibility for contracts and sub contracts for specialist works
- Lead and motivate a team of PMs and Engineers
- Be responsible for quality, environmental and H&S aspects of projects
- Hold regular project progress report meetings
