Carbon60 are hiring for a Plant Operator to join a large industrial water solutions company across several sites around Cornwall.
The successful individual will operate the plant, monitor treatment of effluent water, carry out water analysis, implement operational changes and monitoring control activities.
Shift Pattern:
- Wednesday - Sunday
- 8am - 4pm
- Occasional sick / holiday cover with rest days in lieu
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating plant equipment, including maintenance and cleaning.
- Operating a centrifuge and valves
- Gathering data
- Handling chemicals
- Testing water samples
Requirements for the role:
- Experience operating plant machinery
- Working knowledge of water testing and collecting.
- NVQ, Degree, or relevant qualifications within the industry (mechanical engineering, chemistry, wet engineering, manufacturing, plant operation, engineering)
- Strong Health and Safety knowledge
