Here at Cennox we are recruiting a Warehouse operative to join our team at our Head Office in Blackwater, Camberley close to the Meadows and located near public transport links including a train station. Cennox supports the world's leading brands to deliver their complex projects. From nationwide installation services and technical hardware provision, to signage projects and branch transformation. Ideally having had previous experience in a warehouse environment with some familiarity with functions of how a stores department works. Some of the responsibilities for this position will include:
- Taking delivery of goods and storing them
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Moving stock by hand or with machines
- Loading/unloading vehicles
- Packing and wrapping goods
- Assist with audits and corrective measures to ensure stock is accurate
- Keeping records and spreadsheets up to date using Excel
- Ensure you play a part in ensuring a safe working environment
- Keeping the warehouse clean, presentable, and organised
- Working to quality standards
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and detail whilst achieving maximum output.
- Able to demonstrate and prove you are a confident user of Microsoft Office with a high level of experience in Excel and a good understanding of Word.
- Able to lift and move boxes of up to 25kg.
- Someone with Flexi/Bendi FLT licence would be desirable but this is not essential.
This position works 8 - 5 Monday to Friday with opportunities throughout the year for overtime both during the week and at weekends. Working under the day-to-day control of the Warehouse Manager we are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Operative.
