£15.00 - £16.00 per hour
Southampton Outskirts (parking available on site, also close transport links)
Temporary to permanent
37.5 hours per week (Days - Monday to Friday), plus the opportunity to work overtime at time and a half! Core hours: 07:30 - 17:00, flexi time available
Once permanent, benefits include 25 days holiday, plus Bank holidays
Due to expansion, we are looking for a skilled Manual Machine Operator to join our client in their busy engineering department. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a well-established family run business with very low staff turnover.
The role;
Involves using manual lathes, mills and grinding machines to manufacture specialist tools, tool holders, and cutting tool inserts to suit exact client requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in all of the above mentioned areas
** Please note: Our client is not looking for a CNC setter, operator or programmer**
** This role would suit an individual who would like a permanent contract, the opportunity to settle and be part of a team**
