Please note this role involves shift working – 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts, days and nights.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:


- Supports to deliver the daily production plan for the line during shift worked
- Operates plant/equipment, carrying out routine basic maintenance
- Understands and works to achieve/exceed daily KPI targets
- Ensures availability of materials and packaging
- Works with Key Operators to carry out start up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout production

Müller Milk & Ingredients are looking for a proactive, hands on HR Manager to join the progressive Leadership Team at our Glasgow dairy; this role would suit an experienced HR generalist with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or logistics. We need you to be innovative, adaptable, creative and resilient with the ability to influence and support colleagues and managers alike.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:


- Create and embed a local People Plan and support the people agenda
- Deliver regular colleague and line manager training sessions related to relevant HR policies and procedures e.g. performance management, capability, discipline and grievance
- Develop a positive working environment, encouraging a proactive approach to people's wellbeing and leading the local Wellbeing Forum initiatives
- Oversee the employee life cycle activities for all employees including assisting with talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding and offboarding
- Working closely with the centralised shared service centre
- Develop career development pathways for employees, and oversee the implementation of appropriate training and development programmes
- Strengthen our induction, recognition and retention activities and support associated projects
- Be responsible for and drive improvement in diversity, inclusion and engagement.
- Be accountable for talent planning, succession, assessments and HR processes that drive a high performing team
- Advise and support on Employee Relations casework
- Maintain a positive working relationship with local Trade Union representatives
- Provide general day to day HR support on operational issues
- Supporting Group HR Projects/Initiatives



Experience & skills :


- CIPD qualified
- Experience in manufacturing environment would be beneficial
- Experience working with Trade Unions would be beneficial
- Experience working in business partner/matrix structure
- Proven experience in advising on complex ER matters
- Resilience, great influencing and communication skills
- Able to build trust, respect and openness

Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative within our Cream Filling department at our Bellshill Dairy site.

This role will involve operating manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.

Location
- Bellshill - G74 4PA
Salary
- £12.19 basic hourly rate plus the below overtime rates:Saturday working
- 1.25 x hourly rateSunday working
- 1.5 x basic rateUnsociable hours rate 23% of basic hourly rate

Full time permanent contract working shifts between 5.30AM
- 10.30PM 5 out of 7 days per week on a rota basis.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Operate our machinery and follow processes effectively
- Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace, including cleaning activities where required
- System upkeep and related responsibilities.
- Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectations are maintained
- Materials replenishment as required
- First line maintenance checks

Shifts; 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 night – 7-7)

We are recruiting for Blow Moulding Technician L1 to join our Blow Moulding Department at Bellshill Dairy.

The purpose of this role is to operate production equipment efficiently and effectively to achieve required standards of performance and to ensure that all appropriate Health & Safety, Quality, Hygiene and Housekeeping standards are maintained.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Effective Operation of Blow Moulding equipment
- Full adherence to all H&S Policies and Procedures / follow all Safe Systems of Work
- Ensure Full compliance to Site Accreditation Standards for allocated Area
- Fault finding using I/O listings on screens
- Follow correct adjustment procedures
- Sustain all set-ups to required standard for optimum performance
- Carry out pre and post maintenance operational checks
- Monitor and record machine conditions
- Support Engineering team with Machine Maintenance or Breakdowns
- Assist colleagues with bottlenecks/problem solving
- Adapt to changing priorities as determined by customer requirements


We are looking for someone who can:

- Meet all output requirements as determined by the shift manager
- Operate all equipment safely, achieving require quality standards
- Drive machine performance to reduce waste costs
- Be customer focused at all times (internal colleagues and external)
- Assist colleagues with bottlenecks/ basic problem solving
- Adapt to changing priorities as determined by customer requirements


Experience required:

- Experience in a busy warehouse environment
- Experiences in manufacturing operations

- Experience of working shifts
