RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
• Provide secretariat support to the Technical Committees and Working Groups. This includes preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, report compilation, drafting of standards, etc.
• Engage and coordinate with the industry, academia, and government organizations to facilitate the development, promotion, and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
• Organizing key standard launches events and other outreach events.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and launch new standards. This includes conducting consultations and ensuring that standards are aligned with industry needs.
• Assist in the industry and technical research for the development of new/review of standards. Conduct verification studies to identify users of the standards.
• Handle inquiries regarding standards in your area of responsibility, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification/ Fresh gradustes are welcome to apply
• Preferably with at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in safety or manufacturing related field
• Preferably with secretariat experience
• Min. 3 years of experience in quality, safety or manufacturing industry is advantageous
• Results-oriented and able to manage and execute projects in a team and independently.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and work well with various stakeholders
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools

Primary Job Role and Responsibility:

1. Strategic Business Development:
   • Identify and cultivate business opportunities within the advanced manufacturing sector
   • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, skills demand and gaps in the industry
   • Implement strategic plans to drive business growth and increase training adoption.
2. Client Relationship Management
   • Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturing companies, industrial associations, and training providers
   • Serve as the primary contact for customers’ inquiries, offering support and addressing concerns.
3. Training Programme Development
   • Collaborate with Institute of Higher Learning (IHLs) and industry training providers to develop tailored training programmes to address specific client needs.
   • Review training content to ensure that it is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards and emerging trends
   • Monitor the performance of training programme and manage client feedback to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

- Min 3-4 years of relevant experience

· Skills and experience in business development, marketing and customer management relevant to advanced manufacturing and industrial training sector

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data

· Excellent communication, negotiation, teamwork skills, with effective industry engagement capabilities

THIS IS A CONTRACT ROLE

• Support the programme head in planning coordinating and executing sustainability awareness workshops and events and actively engage with participants to raise awareness of sustainability transformation efforts and government plans. Provide advisory and support to help interested participants integrate sustainable practices into their operations.
• Foster engagement with stakeholders, including government agencies, associations, technology and innovation companies, consultants, NGOs, academia and Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) players,). Stay informed about sustainability-related topics and developments and actively participate in relevant networks and forums
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute sustainability initiatives and projects. This involves gap assessment baseline identifying areas for improvement developing a roadmap allocating resources GHG measurement and monitoring progress to achieve sustainability goals.
• Organise and facilitate regular stakeholder engagement meetings to ensure effective communication, collaboration and progress towards sustainability objectives.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data management documentation and coordination of meetings and internal communications related to sustainability initiatives collect feedback from workshop participants evaluate the effectiveness of workshops and suggest improvements for future events. Use data and insights to continually enhance workshop content and delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, environmental studies, business, or related disciplines
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in sustainability related field.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability concepts, ESG frameworks, and industry trends.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to support sustainability communication and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to contribute to the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD, is desirable.

• Provide Business Advisory Services (BAS) to companies in the south-west region (priority)
• Identify company's concerns and provide relevant information on government assistance schemes
• Prepare reports following business advisories with clients by submitting it in the Enterprise SG CRM system
• Achieve monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for Business advisory sessions and facilitated cases
• Support group-based upgrading projects (GBU)
