Southbound Consulting Our client A.F. & S.P. Ridgway [ABN 56 920 886 571] are seeking a skilled Earthmoving Plant Operator to support a range of agricultural and infrastructure projects. This role involves the operation of heavy machinery to assist with tasks such as building farm roads, catchments and dams, and general agricultural earthworks. The position is located in Condingup WA, approx. 65 km East of Esperance. Task & Responsibilities Operate a range of earthmoving equipment, including graders, loaders, bulldozers (D8, D10), and scrapers, for agricultural earthworks, such as clearing paddocks, building farm roads, drainage systems, dams, catchments, and fence lines. Prepare and position plant equipment for operation. Select, fit, and remove attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades, and rock-breaking hammers. Operate machine controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge, move, load, and spread earth, rock, rubble, soil, and other materials. Monitor the operation of equipment, adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed, and flow while ensuring the safety of nearby workers. Manipulate attachments using manual and hydraulic controls to raise, lower, and adjust as required. Follow instructions from drawings, markers, and verbal directions. Conduct servicing, lubrication, cleaning, and refuelling of machinery, and perform minor adjustments and repairs. Qualification & Experience Cert II or III in relevant field or proven experience of at least 1 year operating heavy earthmoving machinery, preferably in agricultural and infrastructure environments. Basic workshop skills for servicing, welding, and using power tools. Strong attention to safety, detail, and efficiency. Required licensing or registration for operating heavy plant machinery.
