The Job People are currently looking for a Production Operative for our manufacturing client based in B35 7AG.
This is a long term role, and there is every potential to gain a full time contract after a 12 week period.
The chosen candidate must have previous experience working to targets within a manufacturing/production industry.
This role is full time only - no part time roles available.
We are looking for reliable workers to join our team within the manufacturing and production industry.
Training provided - we ask for candidates with a can do attitude and willingness to learn.
Details of a Production Operative based in B35 Sutton Coldfield:
- Monday to Friday
- Fixed AM shift currently.
- Early finish on a Friday. 06.00 - 13.20
- Flexibility in shifts will be required to support busier periods. Potentially 12 hour shifts or additional night shifts. (premiums will be paid) or rotation AM & PM.
- Paying between £12.00 & £19.50 per hour.
- Opportunity for hourly rate to increase once trained on a variety of roles.
- Overtime available
- Long term opportunity - perm contract opportunities.
As a Production Operative you will have the below experience:
- Previous experience working to targets in a production environment.
- Previous use of hand air tools is a bonus, but not essential.
- Able to count in centimeters and millimeters using a tape measure accurately.
- Excellent time management.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to lift loads of up to 25kg.
As a Production Operative based in B35, Sutton Coldfield, you will be required but not limited to the below:
- Working in a fast paced production environment.
- Able to work rotating shifts from 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm, 10pm till 6am.
- Able to hit production targets on an hourly, daily and weekly basis.
- General house keeping ensuring all work areas are kept tidy.
