Salary: P150,000 - P180,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Certificate or degree qualified in Accounting
- Must have at least 5 years+ of experience as a Finance Manager
- Working towards CA/CPA would be advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (essential)
- Experience with Odoo (advantageous)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel proficiency especially)
What will you do?
To support the CFO to manage all finance functions within the business, with emphasis on AR, AP, payroll, month end and journals. Accuracy of data, timely completion of tasks and attention to detail are key requisites of this role.
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer invoicing and sending out monthly statements
- Follow up on overdue debts, keeping the CFO informed of any issues
- Receipt of customer payments into the general ledger
- Assist with customer queries into their account.
Accounts Payable
- Enter supplier invoices into the general ledger
- Process payments in the bank accounts for CFO approval
- Reconcile supplier statements with the general ledger
- Liaise with suppliers with any queries that arise
Payroll
- Process monthly payroll in the payroll system for CFO approval and payment
- Add new employees/process staff leaving (resignation or redundancy)
- Process pay changes for employees (eg. Pay increase)
- Assist with staff queries into payroll or leave
- Process monthly payroll journal in the general ledger
General Ledger
- Process all month end journals as agreed with the CFO
- Process all bank account journals per NAB bank statements
- Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations as required
- Review the P&L and Balance Sheet for accuracy
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Assist with any royalty and commission payments required
- Prepare the monthly BAS for CFO review and lodgments
Management Reporting
- Assist the CFO with preparation of management reports, including cash flow forecasts and trade finance positions.
- Assist the CFO with preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting
- Support the wider business with relevant reporting requirements
- Provide insightful and timely financial analysis on performance of the business
Systems Development
- Support the CFO through the transition from Navision to Odoo
- Review and suggest process improvement opportunities
- Embrace change management and the efficiencies and improvements that Odoo will bring to the business
General
- Inspire and advocate company values
