This position is in the Upstream - Chevron Americas Exploration and Production (CAEP) Legal Department that provides timely and fit-for-purpose legal services to its Americas Upstream exploration and production business units and headquarters groups. This position serves the Rockies Business Unit (RBU), headquartered in Denver, a business unit responsible for onshore land acquisition, exploration, development, and production activities, primarily in Colorado. The position requires upstream oil and gas legal experience, providing oil and gas contracting and legal advice to clients.

The attorney to be hired will be part of a tightly integrated team coordinating legal initiatives and providing comprehensive, high-quality legal advice and advocacy. The attorney is expected to be an involved, strongly productive team member, working directly with and reporting to the Managing Counsel for the RBU in Denver. Strong analytical, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills and good judgment are essential. The ability to work closely with business clients, other in-house counsel, legal analysts, and outside law firms is important. The position requires working closely with, among others, Asset Development; Land and Business Development; Value Chain Optimization/Commercial; Environmental Management; Finance; Health, Safety and Environmental; Corporate Business Development; Operations; Corporate Affairs; Supply Chain Management; and Compliance personnel.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Providing legal advice and counsel on a broad range of upstream and midstream issues impacting RBU at the federal, state, and local levels. 

• Representing the Company in negotiations with landowners/royalty owners, joint interest owners, contractors, suppliers, customers, and their legal counsel over exploration, production, land, gas sales/processing, gathering, and other agreements.

• Drafting, reviewing, and approving complex contracts across a full range of land, business development, operations, supply chain, and VCO/commercial matters, as well as significant transactions, acquisitions, and divestitures, and other business activities.

• Working with clients and the Litigation team to manage and resolve disputes with third parties.

• Offering general corporate and legal advice on compliance requirements, risk exposures, and mitigation in areas such as antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate governance, employment, health, safety, and environmental, information technology, procurement, public lands, and policy.

• Working closely with Corporate Affairs on U.S., state, and local advocacy, legislative and regulatory strategy, local community affairs, and the full range of external stakeholders.

• Partnering with other Law practice groups, including Environmental and Safety, Litigation, and other Upstream Law Groups, as appropriate.

• Partnering effectively with and managing outside counsel

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills (strategic interviewer and thoughtful listener).

• Ability to work independently and with initiative and to build collaborative relationships with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze legal risk, while finding pragmatic, compliant solutions to client problems.

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and deliver high quality counsel under tight deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school.

• Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado, or actively admitted in another U.S. jurisdiction.

• Upstream oil and gas legal experience (preferably 5+ years), including experience drafting, negotiating, and closing oil and gas transactions and providing legal advice and counsel to clients.

Responsibilities

• Operates automatic and manual manufacturing and chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with operating procedures.
• Performs a variety of tasks related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products. Handles raw materials and intermediate or finished products.
• Mixes compound ingredients for liquid products, suspensions, ointments, mixes, or blends for tablet granulations and capsule powders.
• May perform general maintenance as required on pumps, homogenizers, filter presses, tablet compression machines, etc.
• Performs standard operating procedures to meet current good manufacturing practices (GMP). Maintains records as required.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Be able to successfully complete extensive required training, including e-learning assignments and hands on components, to demonstrate and maintain proficiency.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) without deviation, to characterize materials, monitor chemical reactions and assure quality of final products.
• Understand and adhere to all Certified Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure compliance and regulatory mandates are met.
• Demonstrate strong documentation practices, oral communication, and writing skills. Perform clerical and administrative services including maintenance of daily delivery records, report preparation and maintenance records.

Reports:    Production Supervisor

SUMMARY
Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Employee works from a production schedule located within the work area.
2.    Randomly checks product produced every hour, to ensure the customer specifications are met.
3.    Monitors flow of product into processing machinery.
4.    Tends machines, such as palletizers, case packers, injection machines and box machine to maintain product flow.
5.    Works at different workstations as production needs require.
6.    Works on lines where tasks vary, as product of various shapes and sizes move along lines.
7.    Check finished product for possible defects.
8.    Wears all required personal protective equipment.
9.    Assures and participates in all plant safety/accident prevention policies.  This includes maintaining a safe work environment and follows safe work practices.
10.    Maintains housekeeping of work areas.
11.    Follow all HACCP, GMP and Product Safety rules and guidelines.
12.    Train current and new members of the department to perform job related tasks as needed.
13.    Learn new on the job skills as training opportunities become available.   
14.    Any other tasks that may be assigned.
15.    Must attend monthly shift meetings 6am for day shift or 6pm for night shift.

About the Role

The Shift Floater position will support Blow, Injection and Packaging Mold Machine Operator employees and could be responsible for the operation of multiple blow and injection molding machines and vision systems using written work instructions and computer interface. Requires a general understanding of overall manufacturing processes and the ability to understand and follow basic good manufacturing practices.  Qualified candidates are responsible for starting and maintaining machine operation with a complete and overall understanding in the assigned area of responsibility.

• Responsible for ensuring that all machines within the scope of responsibility are kept running and producing quality bottles while insuring the least amount of down-time possible.  This includes communicating problems to on-coming shift personnel.
• Responsible for completing all mold changes and set-ups.  Minor maintenance activities are required.
• Demonstrate organizational ability to complete daily clean-up assignments, and adequately maintain good housekeeping throughout the entire area of responsibility.
• Directly responsible for the proper support to Injection Machine Operators and all other team members to ensure a positive team environment.   
• Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects.
• Maintains all required documentation of quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry.
• Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product.
• Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Amcor “No Injuries Safety Contract” and as trained.  Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors.  Properly uses all required personal protective equipment.
• Performs other related duties as directed by the Production Supervisor or Lead.
• Product Safety regarding cleanliness and notification of any observations that may create a product safety risk to our customers.
• Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents in their departments.

Salary is between $22.90 and $25.80 depending on experience.

Machine Operator II – Entry-LV4: One-Step Department

Salary Grade:  Hourly

Basic Function:

Safely and effectively operate one-step equipment (including Nissei and related machinery) in accordance with production requirements.  Incumbent will ensure production of a high quality product in accordance with customer specifications. 

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all assigned machines within scope of responsibility are kept running and are producing quality products.  This includes but is not limited to Nissei and related machines.

• Check and monitor quality on machines as required.  Recognize visual quality defects and make necessary adjustments to correct problems.  Alert appropriate personnel to quality problems.  Use Customer Profile to ensure that finished product is made to specifications.

• Quality checks are to be completed every hour on all products running production as laid out by the quality department.  They must be completed on time and every shift.

• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.  Communicate machinery and equipment problems to supervisor and/or maintenance personnel accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain cycle time checks on machines as required.  Maintain machine set-up sheets.

• Utilize, maintain and monitor orderly process, maintenance and machine reference logs/books.  Record daily production numbers and enter information into SAP.  Process production tickets and correct tickets as required.

• Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, quality and delivery problems
• Participates in the resolution and prevention of customer complaints, and promotes solid customer relations in partnership with the commercial organization
• Prepares and analyzes reports to provide better manage the business and comply with internal and external requirements, including plant utilization, labor efficiencies, materials usage, and first past yield.  Helps drive positive trends in all plant operating KPIs.
• Assists with overall talent management, development and employee engagement activities; cultivates an environment of high performance, safety, and ethical and legal compliance; addresses employee relations issues
• Leads communication by example, including management meetings, oversight of daily operations, and review any customer issues
• Serves as an ARP community representative, and is responsible for compliance with the Amcor code of conduct and for ensuring plant compliance with all regulations, as well as ARP policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field; MBA preferred

Reports To:  Production Supervisor 
 
Job Summary 
Blow Mold Operator coworkers efficiently, effectively and safely operate the blow mold machines and other support equipment.  Operators ensure high quality finished products are being produced and meeting production volumes for our customers, while working in a fast-paced and quick changing environment.

Specific Responsibilities / Essential Functions 
1.    Ensures all machines are kept running and producing quality bottles while ensuring the least amount of down-time possible.  
2.    Follows production schedules and communicates any changes to team members when necessary.
3.    Start-up and shut down of blow mold machine and supporting equipment.
4.    Organization ability to complete daily cleaning and adequately maintains good housekeeping throughout the area.
5.    Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects. 
6.    Maintains all required documentation for quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry. 
7.    Operates forklift safely and efficiently.
8.    Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product. 
9.    Follows all established safety rules and guidelines.  Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors.
10.    Properly uses all required personal protective equipment.

Forklift Operator

Reports:           Warehouse Supervisor
Date:                 09/20/2023
SUMMARY
Operates and maintains forklift to supply production operations with raw materials top produce finished product, transfers finished product to storage or staging area and ensures finished product is loaded onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.    Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instruction, visual management and computer interface.
2.    Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finished produce.
3.    Prints and scans Bill of lading for all finished goods using computer interface and RF scanner
4.     Inspects finished goods for quality defects.
5.    Transfers finished goods to staging or storage areas.
6.    Loads finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customers delivery requirements.
7.    Accurately completes all written logs and data input to include closing sequences of tickets and printing Bill of Lading.
8.    Ensures accurate inventory counts and notifies lead/supervisor of discrepancies. 
9.    Effectively communicates with all internal departments.
10.    Removes/Reworks and damaged product on pallets.
11.    Maintain a clean work area and preforms general housekeeping duties.
12.    Follow all HACCP, GMP and Product Safety rules and guidelines.
13.    Train current and new members of the department to performs job related task as needed.
14.    Learn new on the job skills as training opportunities become available.

EDUCATION

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required. The forklift certification must meets OSHA requirements and is required to perform the essential duties of this job.

Title:        Machine Operator I - Packaging
Reports:    Production Supervisor

SUMMARY
Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Employee works from a production schedule located within the work area.
2.    Randomly checks product produced every hour, to ensure the customer specifications are met.
3.    Monitors flow of product into processing machinery.
4.    Tends machines, such as palletizers, case packers, injection machines and box machine to maintain product flow.
5.    Works at different work stations as production needs require.
6.    Works on lines where tasks vary, as product of various shapes and sizes move along lines.
7.    Check finished product for possible defects.
8.    Wears all required personal protective equipment.
9.    Assures and participates in all plant safety/accident prevention policies.  This includes maintaining a safe work environment and follows safe work practices.
10.    Maintains housekeeping of work areas.
11.    Follow all HACCP, GMP and Product Safety rules and guidelines.
12.    Train current and new members of the department to perform job related tasks as needed.
13.    Learn new on the job skills as training opportunities become available.   
14.    Any other tasks that may be assigned.
15.    Must attend monthly shift meetings 6am for day shift or 6pm for night shift.
