QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent.  Must be willing to learn team skills and work in a team environment.  Daily routine requires being on your feet nearly 100% of the time, walking, and standing, stooping, or bending.  Must be able to lift, push and pull to remove extinguishers along the assembly line and pack extinguishers where average to heavy weight is involved.  Must be able to read, write, and understand simple math and work from blueprints.

DUTIES

Fill Equipment

• Monitors equipment and controls of Fill and Material Handling System; monitors inputs (air dryer, compressor, chemical flow, vacuum pressure, etc.) and makes the appropriate system adjustments.
• Inspects product and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.
• Maintains equipment (vacuums equipment and area, cleans fill heads, etc. performs required Preventative Maintenance, etc.) per Work Instructions.
• Changes over equipment for various model shells (units) and chemicals.
• Reworks rejected units and returns them to the system.

Pre-Test Equipment

• Manually loads/unloads units to the conveyors in the event of a Material Handling equipment breakdown.
• Occasionally performs material handling duties (restocking parts, removing pallets, etc.).
• Monitor and operate valve assembly and insertion robots.
• Monitors equipment and controls of the auto torquing station (cycle times, torque parameters, etc.); manually verifies the torque of the head assembly per Work Instructions.
• Monitors the Torque "Gaping" station and makes the necessary system adjustment to system.
• Monitors equipment and controls of the automatic Gassing station.
• Monitors gas mixture equipment and changes gas cylinder (banks) when required.
• Manually inserts Ring Pins into units.
• Manually assembles the Safety Tie.
• Verifies the pull force of the Safety Seal per Work Instructions.
• Monitors material handling system.
• Inspects product and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.
• Maintains equipment per Work Instructions and makes appropriate system adjustments.
• Changes over equipment for various model shells (units).
• Restocks product component parts (Head Assemblies, Ring Pins, etc.) when required.
• Reworks rejected units and returns them to the system.
• Manually loads/unloads units onto/off the conveyor in the event of a Material Handling equipment breakdown.

Mass Spectrometer

• Monitors equipment and controls of the Mass Spectrometer and handles rejected shells accordingly.
• Monitors oil levels.
• Monitors the Labeler equipment.
• Maintains equipment and tools per Work Instructions.
• Changes over equipment for various models.
• Inspects shells (critical dimensions, visual checks) and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.
• Manually loads/unloads units onto/off of the conveyor in the event of a Material Handling equipment breakdown.
• Occasionally performs material handling duties (restocking parts, removing pallets, etc.).

Packaging System

• Monitors equipment and controls of Packaging Machine, Print and Apply Labeler, Palletizing Machine, and Stretch Wrap Machine.
• Manually places literature and hanger hook into cartons.
• Maintains equipment performs required Preventative Maintenance per Work Instructions.
• Changes over equipment for various models.
• Inspects un-cartoned and packaged units and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process.
• Manually loads/unloads units onto/off of the conveyor in the event of a Material Handling equipment breakdown.
• Occasionally performs material handling duties (restocking parts, removing pallets, etc.).

Other (as needed)

• Performs miscellaneous related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Supporting the training and development of peers within the organization.

Summary

The Planner schedules work in accordance with the program schedule.  Deciphers engineering drawings, engineering release notices and engineering orders to determine proper action such as requesting parts through material planning as needed and building parts in the shops.  Assures schedule adherence and program priorities by having both purchased parts and build parts arrive in time to meet the program schedule.  Provides project support to department managers, group leaders, and staff of Hardware Integration and Deployment. Responsible for planning and coordinating various Manufacturing activities with Process Engineers, Supervisors, and Managers involving multiple site Manufacturing departments.

How You Will Achieve It

• Lead and manage batch/buffer preparation activities to support clinical/commercial Manufacturing involving multiple areas/products. 

• Utilize automated systems to plan and monitor production activities (LIMS, Delta V, MES, SAP). 

• Interface with management and team leads across Manufacturing departments and Technical Operations to optimize Manufacturing operations schedule based on upstream/downstream processing requirements, equipment, and staffing constraints.

• Re-prioritize and schedule production activities when unplanned disruptions occur in 24x7 operations.

• Coordinate the issuance, tracking, and review of batch records and other controlled documents to ensure target product-based cycle times are met.  Complete batch scaling calculations in master batch records and author cGMP documents as required to meet plan of record.  Strong understanding of cGMPs to assist in the review of Manufacturing records for completeness and accuracy.  Support programs and projects that require Manufacturing input/resources. 

• Prepare and place purchase orders for supplies and materials necessary for Manufacturing.  Resolve invoice, receiving problems, and expediting of orders.  Manage and optimize IMEx systems that impact consumables/disposables required for clinical and commercial Manufacturing operations. 

• Lead and manage projects and programs that impact production plan of record as assigned by management.  Upon assignment of the project/objective, develop an action plan/schedule, present updates, implement, and verify achievement of project objective.

• Train and develop new Manufacturing Planners in area of expertise. Demonstrate proficiency in other Manufacturing areas to backfill and support based on business needs.

The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is required to perform multiple functions within all work streams of the manufacturing plant, including the ability to perform all functions of the Production Operator, Manufacturing. Primarily, the Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will coordinate and monitor all production, quality, and shipping processes. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing is responsible for providing the production team members with print ready files and order details to ensure Done Right and On Time production output. The Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing will assist the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing, in managing, monitoring, and facilitating production processes in all work streams.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Manufacturing Representative’s primary functions are to assure manufacturing operations meet the quality system requirements, product is released to sterilization and shipping after review of documentation and assisting Quality engineers with quality issues. This position will also provide training, guidance, and input on quality issues to the manufacturing floor. This position will also audit compliance to the quality policy and procedures. The incumbent will participate in continuous improvement and other plant initiatives as needed in support of business goals. This position reports directly to a Quality Engineer.

• Needle Packaging Set-up Operators will be responsible for production on their designated lines as well as maintaining machine runtime and performing some mechanical repairs. 

• They may be trained on any of the processes or lines in the department to help fill production needs, but will have an assigned focus area to build expertise. 

• They may perform visual inspections as well as assembly or packaging operations. 

• Will be responsible for achieving production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment.

The duties are to include, but not limited to:

• Light manual assembly, 100% inspection to packaging requirements and machine operation.

• Must be familiar with specifications outlined in the process procedures, Quality Control Specifications, Drawings and GMP Manuals. 

• Perform and record quality checks and line clearances as required per documentation.

• Will be required to wear appropriate apparel for entry into the clean room environment. Must comply with protective clothing policy and all safety policies.

• The operation includes issuing goods to production orders, bagging, packaging, labeling and and staging components for each operation per documented procedure.

• May be required to operate material handling equipment. Operations may include starting and stopping machine, selecting the material combination program as required, performing line clearances, fill hoppers, bagging, and packaging/ labeling per documented procedures

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

3rd Shift 11PM-7:30AM

The Production Operator, Manufacturing is required to perform many functions within the center, including, but not limited to, operating a wide variety of equipment, moving boxes and equipment, operating computers and computerized equipment, writing and filling out forms, sorting and collating papers, following instructions from supervisors, and communicating effectively with other team members in both Digital and Signs & Graphics environment. The Production Operator, Manufacturing predominantly takes part in the production of S&G print/finish orders according to customer specifications (order details). This team member also maintains the Digital production area and equipment.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and produce Digital and Signs & Graphics print/finish orders as requested and/or directed
• Operate Digital and Signs & Graphics printers, binding and other auxiliary equipment
• Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance
• Maintain equipment and supplies, to include cleaning and repairing
• Provide customer service, including problem solving, to satisfy those needs with a minimum amount of supervision
• Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles to enable Done Right On Time quality results
• Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing center functions
• Maintain work area to 5S standards
• All other duties as needed or required

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Work Environment: Frequent exposure to airborne particles; must work near moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment may be loud.  Use of eye protection is required.

This position is primarily first shift (700am - 3:30pm); Weekend, Holiday and Overtime may be required from time to time to meet business or customer needs.
