Forklift Driver - £13.22 per hour plus bonus - based in Fishponds, Bristol - benefits include 28 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, on-site parking. This is a permanent role working a late shift Monday to Thursday - hours are 1.30pm to Midnight (11.30pm on Thurs)
We are recruiting a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operator with a Counterbalance licence, to join a leading and well established manufacturing company based in Fishponds, Bristol. Working as part of a busy warehouse and production team, this role will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
The successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator will have experience working in a busy warehouse environment, and have a current counterbalance forklift licence. In addition a Pivot Steer or Bendi licence would be ideal, however training will be provided to gain this licence for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Supplying materials to shop floor
- Taking finished goods from shop floor and putting stock away
- Labelling products
- Stock counting
- Some despatch work and loading vehicles
- Waste management
- General warehouse duties
The successful Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator will have previously worked in a similar environment and have a steady work history - a Bendi / Pivot Steer licence would be ideal, however our client will consider candidates with a Counterbalance licence and will provide training to do a conversion for Bendi licence. You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also be able to work on your own and use your initiative. The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential.
This is a temp to perm opportunity to start as soon as possible.
