We are looking for Food Production Operatives for our well-known client in Derby, DE23 8YH. This role is for a production operative in our clients chilled warehouse environment.

Your pay rates and shifts as a Food Production Operative:

• Standard pay: £11.54 p/h
• Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:30 - 22:30

The role as a Food Production Operative:

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment and your duties will be as followed:

• Packing of customer product as per required specification
• Basic Quality checks of product
• General production duties
• Some lifting of product
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
• To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
• This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the hygiene regulations at all times
• General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor

We are currently recruiting production Operatives for one of our clients based in Draycott.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7 am - 5 pm
Pay rate: £11.64
Overtime available after 38 hours at £17.46 per hour.

Production Operative Job Description:
* Packing
* Assembling items
* Measuring materials
* Chemical testing
* Manufacturing Screening, illumination, Signalling and Military training products.
* General Housekeeping
* Drink and drug tested on day one and randomly throughout placement

Production operative person specification:
* Previous experience is an advantage however full training will be provided
* Committed and reliable
* Preferably own transport due to client location however still accessible with public transport which includes a 20-minute walk.
* Good understanding of maths and English

Our client TOYOTA are looking for Production Operatives to join the team at their vehicle manufacturing plant in Burnaston, Derby. Hours of work:

• 39 hours per week, working a two-shift pattern, rotating weekly:
• Earlies: 06:00 to 14:18
• Lates: 15:20 to 23.38
• Or Day shift: 07:00 – 15:33
• You will need to attend a 15-minute briefing prior to the start of your shift.

Pay Rates:

• £15.40 per hour including average shift premium. £31,231 per annum
• £13.22 per hour Base rate
• +£1.10 Shift allowance mornings
• +£3.26 Shift allowance Lates
• Overtime can be called up to 45 minutes on the early shift and up to 2 hours on late shift.

Job Description:

Production began here in 1992 and Toyota Manufacturing UK are now the sole European supplier for the corolla hybrid, and the sole global supplier for the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports with 130,000 cars per year being manufactured here at this impressive plant. Toyota are working towards being 100% Carbon Neutral by 2025.

You will join our production team responsible for building the Toyota Corolla. You will be working within one of our main production areas, either Body shop, Paint shop, Plastics shop, or Assembly shop. In addition, we are also hiring in to the Business Revenue Centre for Used Vehicle Refurbishments and accessory fitting.

• Working on our production line, running one of our manufacturing processes, building an element of the vehicle.
• Confirming quality, and inspection.
• Taking ownership for improving the condition of your process.
• Raising and implementing improvement ideas.

You will receive a one-week induction learning the skills needed to work on the production line and a 4 week ramp up plan where you will be trained by an experienced Toyota Member.

Kenect Recruitment are working with a prestigious client based in the DE65. Due to moving to a brand new site and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Print Press Operator on a permanent bases.

Rates of Pay: £14.50 - £29 p/h + paid breaks with regular pay reviews.

3-week rotating shifts 06:00 - 14:00 - 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates printing press
• Reviews job requirements to understand the scope and parameters of print jobs.
• Prepares, aligns, and configures machinery, ink, rollers, and paper.
• Inspects proof sheets to evaluate the quality of printing.
• Adjusts press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing presses.
• Troubleshoots issues with printing press and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on presses.
• Informs supervisor of problems with equipment or materials.
• Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
• Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
