Demographic and Financial Registration:

• Verifies patient identification per hospital policy. Scans ID and Insurance Cards into hospital system.
• Interviews patients for visits to various ancillary departments to obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial data. Verifies and updates demographic information for every visit regardless of how often the patient presents for services.
• Accesses various software systems to determine correct payer and benefit information. Demonstrates ability to interpret information and enter it into the Health Information System. Demonstrates knowledge of how to respond if no payer information is available for the patient or if patient is self pay.
• Demonstrates understanding regarding identifying and entering the correct guarantor in situations including minors, client guarantors, and legal guardians.
• Explains and obtains compliant signatures on registration forms.
• Answers patient and family way finding questions or directs them appropriately. Escorts patients if needed.
• Acts as a preceptor as needed.

Compliance:

• Understands importance to complete processes as educated to maintain compliance in all areas of Patient Access
• Presents and obtains signatures on necessary forms including but not limited to Treatment Consent Payment Agreement, Notice of Privacy Practice, Patient Belongings, Important Message from Medicare, and Advanced Beneficiary Notice.
• Obtains all applicable demographic registration information related to Meaningful Use, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, birth/administrative sex, and patient portal information.
• Obtains all applicable financial registration information including Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) questionnaires to ensure compliant ranking of payers.
• Specific duties as assigned.

Operator:

• Acts as phone operator routing all calls from internal and external customers throughout the hospital. Uses critical thinking to prioritize calls.
• Provides excellent customer service to all callers.
• Demonstrates ability to quickly respond to all Code events.
• Conveys calm during a code by remaining aware of tone of voice when paging overhead.
• Able to perform other duties while simultaneously acting as the operator related to creating and activating visits for other units of the hospital or other reports as assigned.

What you will do:

• Operation of a particle accelerator: following standard procedures for the turnon/turnoff of radiation equipment. Being aware of common alarms, and troubleshooting when equipment fails or behaves in a non-standard manner.

• Operate electronic test equipment (for example oscilloscopes, spectrum evaluators, and signal generators) and have the aptitude to diagnose problems with sophisticated experimental equipment.

SUMMARY

This is skilled technical work in operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant and lift station equipment and facilities.

The single position allocated to this classification reports to a designated supervisor and works under general supervision. Work in this class is distinguished from higher classes by its lack of supervisory responsibility and from lower classes by its advanced technical skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Attends work on continuous and regular basis.

Attends training to maintain required certifications and job proficiency.

Prepares daily reports used in monitoring the performance of various equipment.

Operates and maintains chemical feed systems.

Operates industrial equipment including sludge trucks, vacuum trucks, fork lifts, semi-trailer, backhoe, and tractors.

Transports biosolids to other plant as needed.

Provides training and instruction to assigned staff.

Enters and performs work in hazardous and confined spaces.

Wears appropriate PPE including but not limited to gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, ArcFlash rated clothing and SCBAs

Complies with information provided on Material Safety Data Sheets for all products; handling and storing items properly.

Will be required to respond under emergency conditions, including the possibility of being away from home for extended periods.

Will be required to transport, mix, handle or use hazardous materials (other than cans of gasoline, batteries, pumping fuel or normal janitorial cleaning materials).

May be responsible for facilities or equipment carrying current, fluids or gas under pressure that could endanger the public or other employees.

Plant and Lift Station Maintenance

Install and maintains equipment working from blueprints, sketches and manufacturer’s instructions.

Troubleshoots lift station and plant problems with VTS system.

Inspects and evaluates pumps, motors, piping and associated equipment used in operating water or wastewater plants and pump stations and makes recommendations for maintenance and repair.

Performs skilled plumbing and pipefitting duties involving the installation of new or reconditioned pumps and related equipment.  Disassembles and repairs compressors, pumps, and other equipment.

Operates power tools and all necessary equipment involved in carpentry, painting, welding, fabrication and masonry work, as assigned.

Performs preventive maintenance and inspection routines for lift stations or plant equipment.

Performs lock-out tag-out of complex unit processes and equipment.

Diagnoses electrical failures and performs limited electrical repairs on equipment including turning off breakers and wiring equipment.

Uses test equipment including, but not limited to: voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, phase indicators, meggers, and oscilloscopes.

Operates vacuum and/or tanker trucks and medium construction equipment, as necessary. 

Maintains building, structures and equipment.

Plant Operations

Serves as operator-in-charge during shifts.

Sets process control parameters based on test results.

Keeps records of plant and control parameters for use in establishing trends in process control and maintaining plant compliance.

Performs preventive maintenance for plant operations with the assistance of and in cooperation with maintenance and instrumentation personnel.

Maintains and calibrates process control analyzers and probes

Pumps sludge at prescribed levels. 

Makes operational checks and troubleshoots equipment at wastewater plant. 

Checks, adjusts, and designates the repair of controllers, valves, gates, switches, pumps and motors.

Removes grease deposits, debris and sand from wet wells. 

Drains and cleans degritters and pumps.

Performs standard wastewater and industrial waste analysis, including solids determination, phosphorus, pH, nitrates, ammonia, and turbidity and creates analysis standards, when applicable.

Performs general cleaning to keep plant neat and orderly.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

May be assigned to work at other locations or with other departments within the utility.

May act in absence of supervisor, including providing shift schedules and also preparing Discharge Monitor Reports (DMR) for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and for engineering.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Below are the required education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and three (3) years of experience in wastewater operations and maintenance. 

Must meet all requirements as established in the Wastewater Plant Operator Mechanic Progression-Through-Training Program (PTTP) through the Wastewater Plant Operator Apprentice level.

Notes:

A copy of the Progression-Through-Training-Program is available upon request.

Incumbents in this classification must meet the minimum requirements established in the Water Plant Operator / Mechanic Progression-Through-Training Program.  Failure to progress to the maximum level of the Water Plant Operator/Mechanic within the timeframes established in the program will be grounds for termination of employment.

CERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSES

A valid State of Florida Class "A" Commercial Driver License (CDL) instructional permit with tanker endorsement is required at the time of appointment, and a valid State of Florida Commercial Driver License Class “A” (CDL) License with tanker endorsement required within six months of appointment date.

A valid State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License (Class A, B or C) or Florida Water Pollution Control Operators' Association (FWPCOA) Wastewater Collections Class “A” Certificate is required upon appointment. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Thorough knowledge of sewage treatment processes, wastewater chemistry, mechanical maintenance of pump stations, aeration equipment, clarifier, chlorinator filters, and sludge dewatering equipment.

Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for operating public access reuse systems.

Knowledge of electric motors and circuitry.

Sufficient knowledge of chemistry and biology needed to make plant operational decisions.

Ability to read, record, and interpret meter charts, graph drawings, plans, and laboratory reports.

Ability to conduct lectures, tours, and training programs for operations, public school groups, and other interested parties.

Ability to operate work related equipment and transportation vehicles.

This position reporting to the Global Director of MTO Category Procurement, is responsible for data-driven procurement initiatives driving actionable insights, and partnering closely with the external supply operations team. As well as providing strategic solutions to support leaders and company objectives in Fort Worth, Texas!

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate reasonable and efficient contracts with sterilizers & contract manufacturers that involves a high degree of complexity.

• Work closely with the external supply operations team to ensure strategic and business criteria alignment.

• Improve supplier relationships by promoting and supervising the implementation of a coordinated supply chain involving key collaborators.

• Implement standard processes and ensure adherence to established Procurement policies and procedures.

• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and service levels.

• Perform market analysis to provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

• 7 Years of Proven Experience

En nous rejoignant sur ce poste, vous serez intégré(e) au sein de l’équipe Transferts Industriels et assurerez les activités de transferts industriels dans le but de sécuriser et/ou améliorer la compétitivité de nos productions, le tout en coordination avec les équipes qualité et architectes industriels.

A ce titre, vos principales missions consisteront à :

• Dès la phase de cotation :

  • Préparer les dossiers de consultation en assurant la disponibilité d’un cahier des charges dédié à la cotation, en veillant au bon niveau des données fournies au fournisseur,

  • Etre l’interlocuteur unique des fournisseurs pour toutes les questions techniques,

  • Participer aux revues / gates de la phase de cotation afin d’y apporter votre expertise et évaluer la qualité des chiffrages fournisseurs (compréhension des dossiers, cohérence de la main d’œuvre,…).

• En phase de qualification (fournisseur validé) :

  • Préparer le cahier des charges dédié à la production série en le validant avec le Responsable Produit Série (RPS),

  • Animer et piloter les échanges techniques réguliers avec le fournisseur jusqu’à la qualification du couple Produit / Fournisseur (validation du RPS), votre expertise permettant de garantir que toutes nos exigences (techniques, logistiques,…) sont explicitées et couvertes.

• Tout au long du transfert industriel :

  • Participer à l’élaboration du planning et du budget des transferts,

  • Contribuer, par vos actions et propositions d’améliorations, à la tenue des objectifs calendaires et financiers,

  • Piloter et coordonner les actions d’industrialisation en liaison avec les équipes opérationnelles et en accord avec le référentiel de l’entreprise, réaliser le reporting périodique de votre portefeuille,

  • Assurer les actions permettant de garantir la maturité industrielle du couple produit/fournisseur à la mise en production (déploiement APQP, FAI renforcée,…),

  • Gérer la relation avec les clients / coopérants internes (Méthodes Industrielles Centrales, Centre de Compétence Industrielle et Direction Technique pour l’expertise technologique / tests).

  • Participer au développement des bonnes pratiques du métier d’industrialisation des transferts industriels,

  • Etablir les prévisions de dépenses de votre portefeuille.

Position Summary:

Supervise production employees and well as, create a strategy on executing a diverse workforce. Plans and assigns work meeting safety, quality and delivery goals.  Recommend and execute improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions through listening, engaging employees and problem solving.  Act as the company conduit for employee communications to keep employees abreast of news and information.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate departmental activities to meet schedule attainment, productivity requirements and deliver quality manufactured products.
• Ensure a positive approach to employee relations for all employees.  Maintain effective lines of communication with employees, leads and peers.  Resolve employee issues through established channels.
• Administer all policies and procedures as established fairly and consistently.
• Lead by example, coach, and mentor all employees.
• Monitor cost reductions, such as waste, scrap, damage and rework.  Evaluate and monitor production flow to anticipate bottlenecks and disconnects that will affect output.
• Maintain time and attendance records.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree with concentration in manufacturing or equivalent experience, with a 4-year degree preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, Outlook, inventory control applications.
• Supervisory or leadership training preferred with a minimum two years supervisory experience preferred in a manufacturing setting
• Must have strong communication skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Employee development experience
• Knowledge of press brakes, routers, lasers, or turret punches preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills; must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations
• Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data to find solutions to various production problems and prioritize work.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
