Equans is looking for a CCTV Control Room Operator to join our team in National Operations Centre Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,280.07 per annually and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: 24/7 shift pattern - 4 days 0700-1900, 4 off, 4 nights 1900-0700, 4 off
What will you deliver?
Oversee site alarm activations, including CCTV verification, ensuring appropriate escalation when necessary. Responding promptly and effectively to requests from the Facilities Management Helpdesk and the QSE Incident Reporting Hotline as required.

Who are we looking for?
Experience:
- Ideally, prior experience in a CCTV Control Room, Service Desk, or high-call-volume environment.
- Experience in customer-focused roles and contributing to incident management or command/control operations.
- Previous experience in security or service desk operations, with fire safety and first aid training advantageous.
Qualifications & Skills:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including accurate incident logging and evidential information gathering.
Desirable:
- CCTV and access control knowledge, including operations and equipment.
- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV) licence or willingness to obtain one.
