My client, a well-known international organisation in the manufacturing and repair of large and small power tools, are looking for 2 mechanical professionals to join their team in Uddingston

this role will be on a temporary ongoing basis.

The role will involve diagnosing and rectifying faults on various types of machinery, servicing machines before they are sent back to the client and working closely with the Repair Team to advise on any product faults.

* Collect samples of product from Manufacturing
* Carry out standardised analytical tests on batches, charge up samples, finished
product, stock holds & complaint samples. Interpret results, understanding brix
(sugar) and pH levels & communicate to production or appropriate personnel.
* Carry out standardised analytical tests of raw materials including mineral water
and comminute
* Set up of HPLC instrumentation

adjustments for the IPC.

The role:

Responsibility:

• Produce manufacturing models and drawings from architectural and design intent drawings for approval and construction
• Ensure all drawings and models are produced in line with manufacturing and drawing standards
• Adhere to specific project standards such as naming conventions, numbering protocols and standard details
• Ensure drawing check sheets are used before and during the drawing process

We are currently recruiting for a well-known manufacturer within the Leamington Area, who are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity, ideally suited to someone that has previous experience.

Purpose of the Job:
* To assure the quality of all products purchased from suppliers.
* To provide assistance and support to internal issues or outgoing inspection where required.

Duties:
* Help drive the quality culture across the business.
* Complete quality assurance activities for all products such as receipt inspection and end of the line firewall.
* Assist with supplier PPAP submissions - working within IATF16949 standard
* Incoming parts inspection against FAIRS, ISIR.
* Assist with the maintenance of all measurement equipment in line with the calibration system.
* Assist in CAPA using quality toolbox & 8D
* Ensure understanding and compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
* Assist where applicable, to ensure that the company maintains all externally accredited certifications and to continually work within the relevant guidelines

Essential:
* Demonstrates an ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications.
* Demonstrates ability to use intermediate measurement equipment.
* Demonstrates an ability to analyse and report data and/or measurements analysis.
* Demonstrates understanding in business systems such as OneERP/ SAP.
* Works well within a team and can clearly identify when a team approach is required.
* A desire to complete & gain Quality Qualifications, working progressively towards achieving a Quality Assurance Technician status.

Beneficial:
* Prior quality experience in inspection, testing or problem solving
* Previous knowledge or experience of the use of CMM or similar laboratory equipment.
* Previous experience of MSA (Measurement System Analysis).

Packaging Technician
Temporary ongoing, £16.47 per hour for the first 12 weeks
Worthing
After 12 weeks service with our client, you will have the potential to earn £18.30 p/h basic, with overtime at £23.72 per hour

Our highly well established and well known client based in Worthing are currently looking to expand their Packaging Department. We have worked with our client for many years and have seen many of our temps gain permanent contracts, so this is a great opportunity to gain a career in the pharmaceutical industry.

The role:
Perform quality assurance checks on finished packaging.
Assemble boxes and other packaging materials, as well as labelling
Have a good understanding of Good manufacture practice - you will be trained in this area
Updating documentation
The hours -
Monday to Thursday 21:45pm - 7:15am

Key Skills Required
Able to work on your feet, in a fast paced environment
Ability to operate packaging machinery (training given).
Good work ethic and a team player.

It would be desirable to have the following:
Basic English (written and reading) and Maths skills - GCSE's
Any experience within a busy production/ packaging environment

Quality Assurance Technician required to work for a world wide drinks Manufacture based in BD4

Pay : £14.87 phr
Working hours: Continental shift pattern

* Collect samples of product from Manufacturing
* Carry out standardised analytical tests on batches, charge up samples, finished
product, stock holds & complaint samples. Interpret results, understanding brix
(sugar) and pH levels & communicate to production or appropriate personnel.
* Carry out standardised analytical tests of raw materials including mineral water
and comminute
* Set up of HPLC instrumentation
* Using standardised calculations determine, recommend & recheck material
adjustments for the IPC.
* Use the Manufacturing Execution System to release syrup batches to production
* Taste testing of all finished goods batches, identifying issues where appropriate
* Follow standardised procedures to determine acid and brix levels in customer
complaints and report on findings.
* Following standardised procedures test chemical oxygen demand (COD) and pH
levels of environmental samples
* Check packaging and coding against specifications using SAP system,
communicate results & ensure extra checks are carried out if failures have been
determined. Identify product to be held if out of specification.
* Organise storage of retained samples & ensure housekeeping in both Laboratory
& keeper room is maintained to a high standard.
* Use Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for recording of analytical results &
comply with all other documentation systems as referred to in the procedure
manuals.
