The key responsibilities are:
• Supporting to ensure that Prelude is ready to operate Crux at the earliest practical time.
• Enabling and facilitating delivery of the Operations Readiness Team during Detailed Design activities, with a focus on integration with Prelude.
• Ownership of the long-term objective of the Crux project, with a proactive and can-do aptitude, including early input beginning in Detailed Design
• Ensuring end-to-end integration and alignment with Prelude processes, equipment, and procedures to facilitate the successful end-to-end processing of Crux products.
The Lead Production Technician’s accountabilities adapt and evolve through the project phases:
During the Detailed Design Phase:
1. Contribute to updates to Prelude Competency Development and Assurance AMS documentation and procedures due to Crux changes.
2. Bring a high level of ESP skill, knowledge and consistency as a dedicated resource, and hence facilitating and enabling the Project Operations Readiness (ORA) Teams delivery, as the future asset owner.
3. Be the asset owner team representative, responsible for supporting the Project ORA team to operationalise requirements that will achieve NNM outcomes.
4. Provide dedicated and consistent Prelude Support to the ORA Team by via review and input to Operations/ Maintenance related Detailed Design activities and ensuring that Project development and execution decisions are appropriately considered for impact to the existing asset.
5. Ensuring Prelude’s readiness to receive Crux at the earliest practical point in time, and supporting the development of elements of the Crux Readiness / P2A Process.
6. Delivery of Crux Performance Projects as required, which may include Crux integration into the Prelude Integrated Operating Centre, Crux Onshore CWE design, the Crux Walk-To-Work Project.
During the Commissioning and Start Up Phase
7. Ensuring Operations and maintenance team organisational competency and capability.
8. Contribute to walk downs, function testing, Right First Time program, ensuring delivery of project outcomes.
During the Operate Phase
9. Supporting the PIC to ensure operation within the boundaries of the Safety case and Environmental Plan, respective legislation, and business plan when the platform is manned.
10. Ensuring that the Ensure Safe Production, Permit to Work, Safe Isolation and Maintenance Execution processes are followed so that day to day tasks and activities of the production shift are executed with consistency and with focus on process safety, integrity and operational excellence.
11. Supporting the PIC to safely deliver the production plan and Integrated Activity Plan.
12. Enabling the early identification, diagnosis and rectification of process issues as they arise.
13. Coordinating all work activities via the Permit to Work process, including permit verification and overseeing equipment preparation for maintenance.
14. Working closely with onshore organisation to drive safe, reliable, and efficient Crux performance, and ensure threats to the safe, reliable, and predictable production plan are identified, managed, and meet the requirements of AMS processes.
Job Requirements:
• Prelude experience is preferred.
• Experience in a Major Hazard Facility environment to ensure safe and consistent operation of production
processes.
• A diploma/certificate in Production Operations with experience as a Production Technician in operating assets, preferably in the capacity as a Production Supervisor is essential.
• Assured competent to perform Fire Team Leader duties.
Skills and Competencies:
• Skill in ESP Operations, Safe Isolations and Permit to Work Processes, as well as PME Maintenance process.
• This role has been identified as a HSSE Critical Frontline Barrier Management role, as per the HSSE&SP Control Framework HSSE & SP Management System Competence Manual. People holding this role must be assessed against the Competence Specification Part l: Frontline Barrier Management.
