Work Days: 5 Days (8am to 4:45pm from Mon to Fri)

Job Duties:
• Perform all production activities at various stages and to work as a team to achieve production targets in accordance with ISO Quality Management System and applicable safety standards.
• Weighing, mixing, filter preparation, filling and packaging.
• Completion of all associated production records in accordance with good documentation practices.
• Transfer of raw and packaging materials as well as finished products.
• Perform house-keeping and first-level trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
• Equipment and area cleaning on regular intervals.
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives within Production.
• Handle non-routine duties as assigned by senior technicians or Production supervisor.

Requirements:
• Min GCE O Level / Nitec in production, preferably in Industrial Engineering
• Min 3 years of related working experience, preferably in chemical process related industry / production factory
• Computer literate (MS Office) and knowledge of Chemistry preferred
• Responsible, reliable and able to work independently as well as a team player

Purpose:

• To assist the Senior Maintenance Engineer in providing technical support to manufacturing operation in achieving the daily production goals

Job Responsibilities:

Production Equipment/Machine Maintenance

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in conformance to operational standards to ensure smooth operation of production machines and equipment
• Respond to all machine and equipment faults promptly and assist engineer in troubleshooting/repairing work
• Assist Engineer to contact approved vendors and contractors for machine/ equipment, spare parts and facility equipment for repair works and ensure that they are properly done and verified
• Assist engineer to perform trial run on new product requirements based on customer requirements
• Update spare parts inventory and inform engineer when inventory run low
• Perform safety, housekeeping and 5S

Production Facilities Utilities Maintenance

• Perform daily checking on waste water plant to ensure no overflowing, no leaking and neutralizing the acidity level
• Conduct checks, repair and replacement works on facilities utilities system on the production floor and ensure they are working properly
• Inspect all servicing/repair works of utility machines and equipment done by vendor and contractors are properly conducted and verified

Productivity and Innovation

• Identify potential improvement initiatives
• Implement feasible improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and/or economy

Administration

• Assist Engineer to update documents for machine maintenance
• Assist in updating respective relevant ISO and BCM documents

Requirements:

• NTC/ITC in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fields
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities / machine repairs and maintenance
• Possess basic IT Knowledge and Computer Skills
• Experience and technical knowhow in printing and packaging industry will be added advantage
• A good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• A responsible and independent worker who requires minimal supervision
