Job summary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stock Control
1. Ensure that stock rotation is carried
2. Check that the minimum stock levels are maintained and liaise with
3. Top up raw materials on a daily basis within decontamination

Decontamination Process:
1. Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn at all
2. Follow the correct entry and exit procedure for the Brush and Clean room.
3. Follow all work instructions for the safe handling and cleaning of all instrumentation and the safe use of all
4. Track and trace all equipment through the I.T. System (Scantrack).
5. Carry out in house cleaning tasks as
6. Report all non – conformances to a Supervisor/ unit co-ordinator or unit
7. Handle all equipment with
8. Ensure the correct clothing is worn at all times and minimal make up is
9. Carry out cleaning tasks as
10. Follow hand hygiene
11. Follow work instructions for the safe use of
12. Follow all work instructions for the safe handling checking and packing of scopes and accessories.
13. Adhere to the uniform
14. Report all breech in ISO regulations to a Supervisor/ unit co-ordinator or unit
15. Handle all equipment with
16. Trouble shoot any issues identified with AER’s.
17. Report any breakdowns to identified

Delivery and Storage Process (Clean Room):
1. Follow the correct entry and exit procedure for the drying

Delivery and Collection:
1. Ensure the correct procedure for collecting and delivering scopes is adhered
2. Ensure correct entry/exit procedure
3. Place decontaminated scopes in drying cabinet for specific
4. Track and trace all equipment through the I.T. System (Scantrack).
5. Follow all work instructions for the safe handling of scope trays and
6. Follow all work instructions for the delivery and collection of
7. Handle all equipment with

Miscellaneous:
1. All personal protective equipment which is provided must be used in the correct manner
2. Assist in the training of new decontamination
3. Ensure all products are tracked from the point of receipt, throughout decontamination, final release and dispatch using the Scantrack IMS tracking system and/or paper- based system as
4. Ensure Quality Management System records are completed accurately and legibly and that uncontrolled changes are not made to documents or
5. Good timekeeping.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance work in accordance with Estates schedules and accepted good working practices to ensure safe and reliable engineering services. This will include but not be limited to Ventilation System Maintenance, Lift maintenance inspections, medical Gas system inspections, PAT Testing, first attender for blocked drains, door access/locks, loose paving, water ingress, and roof inspections. etc. Respond to the shift maintenance operatives bleep system/mobile phone and deal with the situations as appropriate. To support the Shift partner across the Estates Department on maintenance work and repairs as required. Undertake unsupervised minor repair work that is related to their training and/or experience. To assist/carry out the testing of fire alarms, hot water temperature checks, and changing lamps, without supervision. Recording meter readings in various departments monthly and being able to interpret the results to highlight any abnormalities.

• To ensure all machines are utilised effectively and production is not adversely affected, where issues arise ensure the relevant stakeholders are advised.
