Key Responsibilities:

• Work within the leisure centre gym and cover the front desk.
• Assist in the pool area and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Gain experience in the operation of various sports facilities, including the sports hall and swimming pool.

Training and Development:
Successful applicants will benefit from a comprehensive 2-year training program, which includes support in obtaining industry-recognised qualifications such as:

• Level 1 & 2 Swimming Teaching Qualifications

• First Aid Qualifications

Working Hours:

Building Maintenance Facilities Assistant required to support the Facilities Manager in the procurement and delivery of all the services, contracts and projects required.

Skills

Facilities management and day to day delivery of hard and soft service including electrical, plumbing, heating, HVAC, reception and air conditioning services.

Permit experience.

Computer Literate, good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

Day to day point of contact for specialist service providers, contractors and access enquiries.

Raising quotes from contractors or suppliers and contractor callouts.

Review and action facilities work orders by obtaining quotes, raising orders, and delivering solutions to site.

Site inductions for new contractors, service providers etc.

Reception cover one lunchtime per week, holiday cover for all days

Assisting in meeting room and site set up.

We are looking to recruit a Fast Responder with a friendly and positive “can do” attitude, to join our team of Maintenance Assistants.

You will be performing work of a routine nature which involves varied tasks including, but not limited to, replacing lamps, tubes and electrical ballasts, repairs of a minor nature to hospital phone systems, cleaning of ventilation grills, assisting with water flushing tasks, changing of shower heads and hoses and Air Handling Unit filter changes.

You will have responsibility for minor repairs and routine planned maintenance activities on Mechanical, Electrical and Building fabrics as directed by management. You will also take instructions from the radio controller to attend and repair minor reactive jobs of a mechanical, electrical and building nature.

A willingness to support out of hours and emergencies when required.
